hmm bit weird how you need to beat the 5 kimono girls in ercuteak to battle ho-oh or lugia and there not battleable til u reach blackthorn.

I got Heartgold earlier, great thing is it's patched so items and pokemon names and attacks as well as other tidbits are translated to English, haha.

Still, this information looks pretty good so far, and I can't wait to see if it's all true, lol.

So the Pok�mon line-up is exactly the same. xD

Hoenn starter is confirmed at it will Steven Stone who gives it to you and will also tell you that Latios is roaming.

It's official: HG/SS=Best Pokemon games to date. Walking around with my trusty Slowking on my way to Ecruteak. Oh yeah, I'm doing a Slowking solo run on this Japanese version, and doing an actual play-through when the English one comes out. That one I'll have some fun with. This one I just got because I couldn't wait, lol.

I just made a new info thread (also my first!), hope you guys like it.

Anyway, Serebii has all the sprites up on their site. I agree with you that these games are the best to date.

Oh well. Maybe since someone at Nintendo apparently likes me, the English games will come out sooner? :D

Nope. Never paid much attention to the text anyways, and I can understand enough through my basic knowledge of Japanese and through what the sprites are doing.

Okay...so without any knowledge of Kanji or Katakana or Hirigana, would I be completely lost? :'D

Yeah, you probably would. Again, you could just go by the sprites, but that wouldn't get you far.

I guess so but i can never play games that aren't in english, i always feel like i'm an outsider, like they're laughing at me through their weird little symbols. Even if they were, i'd never know!. Anyway, how many pokemon games does this make excluding the mystery dungeons, the console games, and things like pokemon trozei?
