I keep hearing about people complaining about not recruiting Mew. Is he better than he was on the other games? If he's as good on this game as the others, I don't see what the big deal is.He stunk on the other games.(In my opinion anyway)

People are just complaining because Mew is a very hard Pokemon to recruit is all. It would've been easier to get him if you had to go to the end of a 99 floor dungeon. Mew's a great Pokemon, it just plays hard to get a lot XP. And how can he not have any good moves? He can learn any move! XD

He can learn every TM, not every move.

He can learn every move because he can transform into other pokemon that know moves that he is not able to learn from a technical machine.

Oh, he can? I thought only Ditto or pokemon with Metronome could use transform. And penguin, I apologize for what I said in that topic called Penquin 4.0

Mew does learn transform at level five making it a very useful pokemon to own.

And that's why people have been bashing Mew, because of the low recruitment percentage, nonetheless, I'm not gonna stop trying to recruit Mew.

lol, well in mystery dungeon transform doesn't give you the moveset of the person you transform into so it is almost completely pointless, and therefore I declare ditto the stupidest of them all. but the tms are pretty good so mew can learn some sweet moves, but mewtwo has a wide range of learnable tms as well, like flamethrower, ice beam, brick break, shadow ball, etc. and his stats are a lot better so I think he is awesome, and he is also easy to recruit (99.9% chance of befriending him)

P.S I have both mew and mewtwo, so just keep trying, and you will get mew, but may I suggest lucario rank and a friend bow. it really increses the chances of getting it by a lot, and with that combo, you can befriend pokemon with a -32% befriend rate, like blastoise and swampert and feraligator and shiftry and golem.
