Pokemon Platinum General Discussion

When the hell did this forum get here!? Lol. I thought the project was dead. Well I'm back, with all the Pokemon I made.

No BBF28, this ain't Project Platinum. It's an actual game! This is tha 3rd Generation IV game. Giratina is tha mascot an' it'll have his Origin form in it. Battle Island. New Trainer color. etc.

Ironic ain't it? We were already makin' Platinum, then it was officially announced. If Platinum wasn't dead before then it's long dead now.

Yep, kinda makes me feel proud. But I always expected that name would be used eventually.

it was destined i guess since they already have used like half of all WELL known valuable gems ,metals, etc.

True. I wonder what they'll use now? They'll probably have ta go to stuff like elements er different stuff really.

well they used colors sort of refering to elements. I was wondering if they would start using certain types for games like ghost or dragon or something

And how would that impact the game?

Does anyone know if this will be for the Wii or the DS?

On topic: I think after using jewels and metals, they will have to start using something that is related to a color, since gold, crystal, rubby, emerald, diamond and platinum are all basically colors (just to name a few games). I bet that they will have to start using stuff like the japanese elements. You know, like wood, metal, wind, water, fire, etc.

And bbf28, I'm pretty sure this is for the DS, since this forum is in the DS section. Plus, all main game series games are for a handheld system. Unless they come out with a new handheld before Platinum, it is most likely going to be for the DS.

Oh yeah, about the game names, I always thought that chaos black would be an awesome real game instead of just a bootleg. Maby they could make a chaos black and order white series?

I know many great bootlegs worth playing but, this isn`t the website to talk of such things :p. I was wondering along names. I think they`ll go with the most random stuff now. I mean something that would just make you T_T at it. Not sure what I would be but, it`s definitely possible.

a little off topic: has anyone else noticed that nintendo and game freak have used every single type (including the ??? type) as an actual catchable in game legendary (not talking about pure types; mainly half types), except for the bug, fighting, and poison types? Just wanted to get that out there, learned about it a while a go, besides, how awesome would it be to have a giant bug as a legendary? Or a giant tarantula (bug and poison)?

Well, kind of. It's one of the forms of Arceus, and it's programmed into the game. There isn't really a way to get it, even if your cheating. maby nintendo will release a plate for it at a future event.

No, Arceus has an as-of-yet unobtainable form that's like that. If there were a ??? legend you'd know about it.
