Yeah. If pokemon is about creatures with different powers and stuff, then why would game freak make a "normal" type, when all the other types are based off of elements and other things. What does normal even mean? They couldn't think of anything better togive it, so they named all these outsider pokemon "normal types"?

Pretty much yes.

Normal type has always been filled with weak Pokemon until Arceus came along.

yeah, but why would anyone bother to keep it at normal type when there are all the different plates out there? Mine holds the draco plate. That way I could teach it draco meteor...

Yeah but arceus is every type lol. Also arceus is a uber so we really can't take ubers into account when showing the strength of a certian type, due to the fact they are banned from competitive play.

Exactly what I was thinking. Nintendo and Game freak shouldn't have even bothered with the normal type. they aren't really good for anything.

Well I disagree there, I think that normal type are decent, such as slaking (I think thats his name, the poke that rests every after every turn) But I will say that I think Nintendo needs to make better normal types, even if they put some in this new game. (Which they didn't)

Normal types are not useless. S*** that Blissey is a lot of peoples favorite (cheating) offensive wall pokemon.

I agree with Marielue5, I think they need a bug type to rival with the other types. I like Butterfree and Mothim. However the bug types need to be exactly like what bugs are in real life annoying and hard to get rid off.

I have heard of Marriland just don't care for that forum Shame However I find if you have a good Porygon-Z with EV in ASp. Attack, one Hyper Beam can take Blissey Out. I have taken out many Blissey with my Porygon-Z. Blissey should of been a bug type because he is annoying as hell.

No while there is a marriland forum I was talking about the person. He is a pokemon trainer who first came up with the blissey/skamory strategy.

Anyways yes porygon-z is amazing if you use him right.

I agree, we are only saying that normal type isn't a week type, and that we wish nintendo would have added more bug type pokes in this sin off game in order to stregthen the type.

Yeah that would be good but the adding of new pokemon wouldn't be so great like if they had more forms like burmy had, it would be better
