I used a lv. 255 glitch pokemon in battle and it grew to lv. 92 after I used it in battle. Why did it not grow to lv. 100??!

I don't know, maybe it was a glitched glitch pokemon. This has never happened to me.

That makes sense, I've used a missingno. and it grew from Lv. 100 to Lv. 98.

It grew down to 92 because a pokemon can't pass level 255.

If you kept going, it would go back to lv.0 or if you raised it, it would go to lv.100. There shouldn't be any 92 involved...

There should if the pokemon was glitched at level 92.

I thought it should have gone to lv.100. All of the pokemon over lv. 100 go back to level 100 if raised.

I once had a Vileplume that I accidently made level 255. I then used it in a Viridian Trainer Hall battle (see pokemon gold/silver) and it grew down to level 48- the level it was before I glitched it. Well actually it was at level 47 when I glitched it but the experience would have made it grow to level 48 had it naturally done that battle.

OK, now I know that every glitch pokemon can randomly switch levels when they grow 1. Just, like, Missingno..
