no, wait, i think the highest missingno level is like 250, using rare candies. if u raise him any higher he goes all the way back down to level 1 or 100, forget which one. but if u raise him over level 100 by hand raising in battles, he will drop to level 100.

i dont know... i think im right actually, because it happened to me.i caught one on level 146, and raised it by fighting, it grew a level and went back to level 100, then couldnt go higher.

The >100 pokemon that you catch revert back to level 100 when they win a battle, but if you raise them with rare candys up over lvl 250 (255 with a Starmie I got) they go down to level 0.

i think missingno is either the 252 or very first pokemon ever made in the game and they were on a short schedule and forgot to take it out and that the pokemon that appear in the area near it are the pokemon they were thinking of using attributes like the head of a rapidash,on missingno and left it in the game pokemon test area and since it had no face(as in its just a big glob of numbers and looks like a computer chip with eyes)it adopted a random amount of data from the game and used it to create itself,also if you look at each missingno no two are the same,like a spinda.
