Kyogre beats Groudon if both have the right movesets.
And actually, I found out tha about 70% of the people who played R/S/E though Groudon was Fire-Ground the first time around, until they caught him.

I knew he was Ground, but i thought he looked more of a Fire type myself. People probably think he's Fire because he comes with Fire Blast when you catch him.

Kyogre can most likely kill Groudon. Kyogre can sub on Groudon. Groudon can also learn sub but its stupid to put it on him.

It's stupid to put Sub on either, the only non attacking move you should put on KyUber is Calm Mind

Anytime, Ben. Kyogre haa good enough defences to get a few Calm Minds in and kill everything that will get killed by STAB'd Surf, coupled with some Ice Beams and Thunders.

If any of you have an Action Replay, put Weather Ball on Kyogre. Why? Because weather ball attack is doubled in weather so that makes base power 100, and also 50% bonuse from Rain Dance making Weather Ball base power 150. Making it stronger than Hydro Cannon and it doesnt need to recharge. So Groudon is OHKO.
