the best starter for ruby version tell me plz which you guys choose

can some1 plz tell me which starter should i choose and which i should catch along with it

you really can't go wrong with starters in ruby.

Swampert (Aka Mudkip)- has good stats, you might be taken down by how it's a ground/ water and it has a double weakness to grass but, with a good moveset, it can oly be taken out really with a sceptile, venasaur or a good sunny beamer (probably not even a sunny beamer).

Sceptile (Aka Treeco)- I love this guy, he has to be in the top 25 for the fastest pokemon in the game and is ultimatly, as Nintendo_Dude put it, a 'grass god' because of his great stats and huge move pool.

Blazikin (Aka Torchick)- I don't know too horribly much about Blazikin but you should ask N_D or someone else.

Blaziken is the hardest to train and use through the game due to his several weaknesses, but he is very useful against Sidney and Steven.

If you want an Easy game use Mudkip, a intermediate game use Treecko, if you want it harder use Torchic

ok i guess ill just get a torchic what pokemon do you suggest i should catch along with it. i have a nincada and poochyena i also have a wingull what do u suggest i should do now

I suggest you drop Poochyena. He has low stats and he can't take advantage of his Attack due to lack of offensive STAB being a Dark type. You should Catch a Taillow instead and they will take you most of the way, but dropping Wingull as quickly as possible for another water type, I suggest getting a Wailmer asap and then picking up a Spheal later for water.

And you don't want Shedinja, you want the Ninjask that it will evolve into. Shedinja sucks, badly. You don't want it on your team

shedninja is just what happens after your nincada evolves.

some ppl said there i a speacial way to get it

yah, evolve nincad with one open slot in your party and a pokeball in your inventory.

i made a ultimate shejinda, i trained to lvl 100
and my bro (i have no idea how he did this) changed its moves to
solarbeam
fireblast
hydro pump
hyperbeam

and he changed my shejinja to a ghost/dark pokemon

my shejinja has never been hit after that

Yes but thats because your one of the people who can't play a game properly and have to cheat. Your pathetic �_�

bleah, cheating, I only do it on Blue, (which I gave to my friend and I only cheated on it becuase I beat it like 10 times) and silver (becuase I was bored) and I didn't use a game shark or action replay.

He's not pathetic, it's just the way he chooses to play the game. By calling him pathetic and a cheater, it sounds as if your just bragging about yourself, and trying to make yourself sound like "a master" at the game, since YOU choose to play the game without cheats... after all, this is a cheat website.

yah, except half the cheats in this site are hints, and half of what's left is bogus.

^Spot on imaloony. Dennis deleted hundreds of fake Cheats every week.

I've played through Emerald many times (I don't own Ruby) and I've found the best pok�mon to include in a party with Torchic (if you're not considering ditching others later on) would be (in final evolution forms):

Blaziken (Torchic's final evolution)
Azumarill (with the Huge Power trait, Thick Fat sucks on it)
Aggron
Gardevoir
Flygon
Absol

Here are their most basic form (in the order as above):

Torchic
Marill
Aron
Ralts
Trapinch
Absol (doesn't evolve, but is still damn good)

That should do the trick.

What so changing the type of a pokemon so it can't be hurt at all isn't pathetic?? I really don't understand your logic there.

If he/she has to make their pokemon unbeatable to beat the in-game AI, he/she truly is pathetic

yah, the only way to beat that pokemon is to make it run out of pp and struggle itself. That's just wrong, it's like fusing a Shedninja and a sebeleye (both of which suck on their own). I don't use action replays of gamesharks because I think it's annoying when people cheat on online games and I don't want to be like them.

Being unbeatable in-game is too easy to achieve, so don't go wasting your time to try and get the perfect pok�mon (which normally takes quite a while) in-game just to beat Youngster Joey or whatever...
