Who do you think was the best starter in saphire.
Im not to sure on who was the best starter, I mean swampert is cool(no thunder weekness)but so are all the others, so give me a reason why you think the wone you pick is the best starter, cause I honestly have no idea and want to know your opinion.

Well it had to be torchic , because he matched well against every pokemon he came across :
A)The rock gym , he had double kick
B)Fighting : he had peck
C)Electric : He had double kick , was super effective against.
D)etc

Thats true, for in game one player mode play he was the best, but what about from the prespective of having one of them on your main pokemon team, who would be the best on your opinion?

I think Torchic is the best, It learns lots of good moves.
Swampert is good too but theres other water pokemon you could get, like sharpedo, i love sharpedo. There isnt really any other decent fire pokemon.

Well yeah Charizard matches Blaziken, and Swampert can only be good against lightning and fire and ground otherwise its no good.

Septile ,you better be willing to do some Ev training with his leaf blade, until he can perfectly land it and cause some major damage because against magniton , he cant do much.

Yes I agree completly, azumarill is amazing if you use him right, ive seen lots of things you can do with him on youtube.

Yeah his Ev , is good , try teaching him hydro pump and put against a pokemon with good defense hell never miss only time hell miss is if the pokemon uses protect , or sand attack , also battle a pokemon that can use accuracy loss ,then azumarill will learn to use hydro pump without fail.

Abipom I don't have diamond but it sounds awesome.
Azumarill is the way to go or use them both , im more of a fire type trainer or , fightting.

You should defenently think about getting pearl, without using pokemon on wifi the pokemon series gets boring.

Azumarill can use some odd move that makes electric use less against him.
septile on the other hand , if you train a water against him alot it can take him down in one or two shots.

I disagree, I think is blaze.
Blaze has great attacks, and great speed, so he is a pretty good sweeper.
