So, those Gym puzzles~

Okay, besides the first Gym, what puzzles what you like to see, whether or not you think that Gamefreak will even make them.

I could picture for a Dark Gym having to light certain lamps with different color torches to light up the whole room and move onto the next one.

^^ That sounds cool. ^^ Umm, I figure they'll put a teleport one in, as always. Umm, It would be cool if each room had a door leading into the next, and on the door was a scrambled word. And the player must go through the room searching for clues, as to what the word is. But to prevent someone from just guessing the word, to unscramble the word, they must pick up letters from the various places you fine the clues.

As long as they aren't as hard as that one gym in Kanto where you have to teleport everywhere...wasn't that a joy. I assume Gamefreak will use the game's 3D capabilities to create harder puzzles that arent from top-down perspective.

Maybe something similar to what they did with Clair's gym in SS and HG. It would be cool to have that only harder.

That wasn't hard at all. The trick with Sabrina's Gym is just go up and down with the warp panels.

I agree, they most likely will use the 3D to better suit the Gyms and just to their advantage as well.

The 3D advantages will probably re-shape how many of the puzzles will be done, and that's gonna be awesome...

Maybe a puzzle that incorporates the DS mic? It's a wild idea.

I'd like the puzzles to be not too hard,not terribly easy.
Probably like Hoenn difficulty. :/

I'd like more of a challenge in the puzzles this time. The ones in HG/SS were pretty simple imo. If they have a Dark Gym I'd like it to be maze that you can change with switches on the floor & so dark that you only have a small area that you can see that gets bigger as you beat more trainers.

I agree...HG/SS gyms were too easy.

The Ghost gym in HG/SS was similar to what your referring too, coach.

i definately want to see if possible a fire type gym.Instead of like blaines you have to step on switches to activate fire which melts obstacles in your way.And for maximum pain you have to beat a trainer to activate each switch.

Thats a cool idea and it would be something new.

For a ground type gym - they could have lots of underground tunnels, and in the middle/the end there is the gym leader .

Maybe for a water type gym you'd have to fish for the switches? After finding a switch, it'd activiate a bridge and there's a trainer at the end of every bridge.

Lol no, I think a dark puzzle would be cool, have a bunch of dark pokemon like umbreon fight you.

With the camera views being shown last week, I think there's going to be some unique puzzles.

The camera uses reflect off the 3D camera panning, so yea, the puzzles will be unique.

That actually sounds like a cool idea.

A possibility for a rock gym might be where you have to move rock pillars that were blocking your way so you can go through. Probably by using a switch or Strength.

An Ice Gym that has the Hail weather condition in it whenever you battle a Trainer would be cool, and so would a Grass Gym with the Sunny weather condition, or a Water Gym where it's rainy.

Maybe an Electric Gym where the lights flicker on and off so it can be hard to see where you're going?

Weather conditions in Gyms would better suit them.

A ground gym where you have to traverse through a maze of unforgiving tunnels?

That's true. I think they should make the puzzles a lot more fun then hard. Make the puzzles easy but fun but make the gym leader harder to beat. The puzzles could almost be like that ds game, I forget the name of it but it challenges your brain and makes you do tests and stuff.
