I'm not about to go rooting through over 3 pages of posts just to see if someone else mentioned this, but I tried changing the date on my DS clock to change the season, and when I did it remained Autumn in the game when it should've been set to Spring. It's as if these games have their own version of Resetti.
I don't like that the Winter season because it can cover over places like twin Mountains, it covers over that big hole in the middle and you skip lots and lots of trainer. But in other places it can be good.

I've already tried this, and it does work... Not sure why everything is talking about they need to wait to catch pokemon, lol.
Since the seasons change every month, it goes like this:
January - Spring February - Summer March - Autumn April - Winter May - Spring June - Summer July - Autumn August - Winter September - Spring October - Summer November - Autumn December - Winter
Also, when you show all 4 seasons of Deerling to the scientist, he gives you a leaf stone...
Alsooooo, you can catch the snowflake pokemon (Cryogonal) during any season... Not sure if anyone said that, but yeah. In winter, it just increases the percent of catching it to like 4, unlike other seasons which are 1.
