Seasons

So in this Gen their adding the concept of seasons into the game. Now depending on the season in some areas you have different Pokemon who appear. Not only is there a change of Pokemon but theres also the change of music and the way the surroundings look. The season changes at the start of each month. So what do you think of the season thing?

I think its kinda cool being able to have a change like this in the game. Though finding some Pokemon you may need for your Pokedex is a challenge cause you have to wait for the right season to catch it in.

Yeah, seasons sound good in theory, but it adds a buttload of waiting around to catch pokemon if you can't/don't want to trade.

I think it's great. Makes the game more realistic. And about the waiting; it only makes some Pokemon harder to find, not completely unfindable.

More reasons to Play this game. I loved the Bug Catching contest, and the day and night in the old games. I am sure I will like this a lot.

Also It'll be a bit annoying because im pretty sure you can only vs Cynthia when its not winter.That means you can only use the other guy with high level pokemon to raise your high level pokemon up.

Good concept as long as there aren't Pokemon that can't be seen in certain seasons; otherwise you spend ages just waiting for the season to end.

It will be different to play a pokemon game that has Changing season considering the face that it has never happened before only rain snow and sun weather.

Sadly you can only find the Snowflake Pokemon in the winter. Some Pokemon you just have a lower chance of encountering outside some seasons.

well that seems kinda long...depends on how long it takes to switch one season to another but even so that is a long wait espeically if you want a pokemon in winter season but you just entered spring. That means you would have to wait Spring, Summer, and Fall all for that one or few pokemon, that might be where trading comes in handy though.

The season changes every month. Right now its winter in my game.

well ya it changes every month? so that means if you miss a season by one season...you wait for winter when its currently spring, you need to wait 3 months, trading still seems easier to get pokemon you want from winter.

yes....it is different, just like i said...it just might bring a lot of waiting if looking for a specific pokemon for a specific season.

Which means the lastibility is increased by a lot. Smart idea. Can't wait to get the English version so I can enjoy it though.

I know I wasn't going to by the Japanese I can wait for the English version. But ya I guess Lastibility is good.

One thing I do like is the music in some areas changes depending on the season. I also like how everything seems to change to match each season.

It's about time. I like the concept of changing seasons. Anything to make the game more realistic and probably entice you to play more or atleast every month. Also, there's areas you can access or can't access depending on the season.

I like the seasons, but they could do it better.
Like Christmass on the 25th of the month with winter or something like that.

so you are saying that instead of just having seasons maybe they should also add months into it, I mean that would be pretty cool, if they had months that went along with each season and you can keep track of it, if they haven't though of that already.

yeah that is what i mean. Maybe that is for the next pokemon game...
