To be honest I would like to see one of the Hoenn starters full evolutions as a Shadow.

definitely all the hoenn starters like you said. 
absol, aggron, sneasel, ninetales, aerodactyl, omaystar(sp?), kabutops, armaldo, cradily, chimecho, milotic, flygon... loads. all the strong ones, and rare ones that are a pain in the butt to catch ;)

I want Rayquaza, Groudon, and Kyogre to be shadows. They would all look cool in diferent colors like Lugia.

thats something that i would agree with. One of the big ledgendarys like Ray,Groudon or Kyogre.

Celebi would be awesome as a Shadow, Celebi is great at stalling,even vs. Umby, which makes it very deadly.
possibly Armaldo and Cradily would be nice also

they ought to have some of the uncatchables in there somewhere, like celebi, mew, jirachi and deoxys. they need shiny muddie too. ^^

Oh yeah, good point. I think the Johto starters should be made shadow because you can only get them by winning Mt. Battle which is a pain in the butt because there's at least 100 floors, or so I've heard.

pikachu: theres 10 zones, with 10 trainers on each. so you have to do 100 battles. all with the same team *sobs*. you can get bayleef, croconaw and quilava on colosseum without any difficulty though.
