i just found the merchant and i have to get past that fort looking place how do i do it

Oh i think I know is it the place with all th guys outside and a bunch of boulders being launched after you kill the pider zombie guy and take his eye? If so you just kill the oen out front ad move your way up on the left side.

If its what sonickid is talking about, buy a semi-auto rifle at the merchant. I HIGHLY recommend it. Then use it to shoot the two people on the higher ground. Run up the stairs and shoot the red barrel next to the first catapult you see. Then shoot the red barrel next to the catapult with the goat-headed person next to it. Then shoot the red barrel next to the catapult with all the boxes stacked in front of the wall in front of the catapult. Next, run to the small house-thingy and shoot the guy loading the last catapult. Then use the crank you have to operate. Make sure everyone is dead though. When your done using the crank,shoot the cannon and it'll blow a hole in the gate. Proceed through.

If you mean the part where the very first merchant comes in, the buy the rifle and go up the cliff to the spot with the explosive barrol. That way, they can only com at you one way and you can snipe them on there way up the hill.
