he doesnt eat his own eye, the teeth are supposed to protect the eye. like if some idiot tried to punch the eye, howould get his hand bitten off and then the life force would be drained from it. then he would 1) spit out the hand, or 2) eat the hand.sig by master pika!

Well if you have played the game you will see that when you fight the final boss and can't hurt it cause the eye is closed.
