Would you ever...?

Here's something I am curious about...Last night I was trying to finish my essay but I ran out of ideas and had to google it. When I was talking to my best friend about it, he told me about this site where you can get someone to write the essay for you...So, if you're ever stuck on an essay or you have to write about a subject that you're not sure about, would you get someone like this to write it for you? Or would you still do it yourself?

I'd do it myself.

if you get some one to write your essey that is cheating. unles you dictate it to them.

i also firmly belev writing those god damd things did teach me quit a bit. and that i was extremly bat at writing them. but i did lern allot when i resertched for content so i could write it.

i meen it is school and other educational establishments that get you to write them.

thair for thair purpios is to teach you things or make/get/encurge you to go lern whats needed.

i never did thm for geography. but then agen agenst all logic i seemed to have an affinity with that subject in school. ironicly my worst subject was english. despite the fact it is my first languge. (my second is engrish but then agen you all know that).

but all said and dun essays are thair for a reson and one i understand (education). thair for every time if i had to go throu school agen i would do the same thing and write them on my own.. (also i would ask out a certen lass aka my best freand)

I wouldn't do it. The only time you would use a site like that would be for college papers, where the penalties (both academic and financial) would be harsh if you get caught. Like neptis says, you usually have to write papers for a reason, and they help you learn both writing skills and more about the subject you're writing on.

I don't know and I really don't care. I would never get someone to write an essay. What happens if your teacher thought you did such a great job so she asked you to tell the class how you wrote such a good essay? You would have to be a good liar to get out of that one.

I would never cheat. It's not helping your essay skills at all. And if it ever came to an in-class essay and you have had someone write all your essays for you, you would easily fail.

I already write good essays so I wouldn't need to cheat.

I usually get around 60 or 65% on essays. I don't write A grade essays but I do a decent enough job to pass. Although I did get 73% on one.

Is your grading scale different because 60% is failing.

Jake - I don't know if it's different in America but to pass any test, exam or essay, you need at least 50%. If a fail was 59% and lower, half the class would be failing. So my score is just above the class average.

So in America 60% is failing 80% is like average.

Wow! You all would have to be nerds to pass your tests! Here, or at least at my high school, below 30% is an E, 30-50% is a D, 50-65% is a C, 65-75% is a B and above 75% is an A.

Your school sounds remarkably easy and a waste of time. If you have to acheive only 50% you could quite easily not do any study what-so-ever and pass with ease.
