I still have my disbeliefs about ghosts, but then how do you explain the massive paranormal expeririences seen by hundreds of different people? Or the sheer hundreds of ghost stories that exist? I'm sure not everyone that has reported these stories is paranoid.
And how come particular hauntings all have the similar characteristics? Like seeing someone ones figure or furniture being moved.
I better stop now, before I send myslef paranoid. But think about it.

ghosts were just thought up as an explanation for the strange occurances in life, and also so that people didnt have to face the mystery of what comes after death.

Ghosts are real. They aren't those creepy dead people on ghostbusters or shining lights on Ghost Hunters. They are the dead that have been caught in a loop or, very rarely, sent back for being in the middle. If there was enough good to balance bad, they are sent back to highten the other. If sent by the devil, they return to haunt. If sent by saint peter, they return to help in odd, but still helpful, ways. Or, they are caught in a loop. During their stay on earth, they are just a bit to one side of the good/bad deal. They usually think they are going one way, which influences which way they do go. If it is the opposite of their true way, they are caught in a loop. They are the rope in a game of tug-a-war between St. Peter and the Devil.

The closet thing I would call a ghost experience was when my Grandpa died, a few weeks afterwards our cat became scared of going in the hallway, and kept looking down the corridor crying. Parents kept getting woken up during the night for a week too. But I wouldn't really say that had anything to do with the paranormal.

I've had plenty. I don't think many St. Peter sent ghosts visit me. Most of them just mess with me.
