How do you rename a sims

I tried to make two girl sims move in together( as friends). But when I did it the last name changed of the girl who moved in. So right away I moved her out, but the name stuck. Help!!!

My brother accidentally named my toddler (girl) trashboat how can I change it ....

I tried to name my sim Georgia but I typed it really fast and did geogia without an R....

(Only on sims free play) I would recommend being the sim you want to rename, and then tap on the sim you want to rename, then near the right top corner there should be a red circle sign, click that and then it will ask you if you want to move the sim out of town, click yes and then go to the town map and move a new sim in the house by clicking the icon on the house, then you can name it something different, hope this was useful!

Yeah I accidentally moved my boy in with this girl and now the guy has her name but I want his last name to be with her first name cuz it would be cute and then on top of that I named one with a name for a cow but I wish it was like dogs or horses so you can change it at any time

I can't change my sims name and one is Anie and I meant Annie!:eh

If you're playing on your phone, you can do the Ultimate Makeover for 12 life points and change gender and name.

Ok so hey I have sims 1 sims 2 sims 3 sims 4 never have I needed to rename my sim and dosent work now im stampylongnose and ive played this and mindcraft for a long time ....

It's to bad you can't change there name.my person's last name needs to be changed.

You cannot rename a sim. You it have to stick with the name it has. However, my dad works for the sims company and developing software and he knows what's going into the new updates and guess what? You will be able to automatically rename sims and even make them minus a birthday so It makes then younger!!! Hope this helps!

you can change sim name by doing an ultimate makeover when you click on the sim. It takes 12 lp and you can ever change the gender

If you delete
a sim then you can rename [video][/video]

I made a sim and forgot to name it. Now it is called Melissa Richardson. Can I name the sim.
