I simply do nothing since if it is in limbo, you will have to die to get it.

I kill my apprentice and send him to get the diamond. I then use a resurrection spell to bring him back to life and he gives me the diamond as payment. I then seal it in my labratory at the top of the Tower of High Sorcery in Wayreth Forest and set a wraith to guard the door, allowing no one but me to enter.

He would never willingly give you the diamond since you killed him in the first place. Instead, he gives it to me and I hide it inside your brain, meaning it you retrieved the diamond, you would kill yourself.

Ha gave me the diamond because I brought him back to life. That was the whole point of killing him in the first place. So the diamond is still sealed in my lab with the wraith guardian.

I brainwash you and you give me the diamond, then jump in a volcano. I then hide it in a piece of clothing. This will tell you what it looks like.

I tricked you by saying it's clothing. Kiiroi boushi=Yellow hat. So the diamond is still hidden inside the boushi.

I break into your pocket dimension and cut the diamond into 2 halves. I then hide one half in an unknown location and send the other half to a museum.

Cutting a diamond is nearly impossible since they are the hardest substance on Earth. So what you cut in half was a fake and the real diamond is still in my pocket dimension/
