I really really really want to play that game but don't want to pay the $20 which is terrible of me. Currently I'm about to start playing Far Cry 3.

Steelers - I've played Far Cry 3 with a friend and it's ok. To me it's similar to Skyrim, but just with modern technology and modern equipment.
I'm about to play some Mario Kart 7 online. My VR is over 12,000.

That's usually how I go about anything digital - Music, Movies, Games.
I feel guilty about it sometimes, but I know I'd be more annoyed with myself if I paid for something I absolutely hated. I'd much rather test things out before wasting money.
When it comes to games, I tend to feel much less guilty though. Just for the fact that every game these days seems to 'release' as alphas and betas. It does honestly get on my nerves that that happens, though. xD

I have been playing RIFT. A former Play-2-play game that went free-2-play. Another good thing, its not pay to win. Its more pay to look good. Such as mounts and costumes etc etc

Blasting through Final Fantasy VIII, a game I've wanted to get for years. Was going great until the game suddenly became very difficult because I'd missed a bunch of important GFs earlier in the story. Excellent story and whatnot so far but the battle system is too gimmicky and complex.
Also FIFA 14, as always.
