Name: Viper Servika
Sex: Male
Age: 134 (looks a century younger)
Height: 6?5
Weight: 270 lbs
Weapons: Lunafira and the Golden Defender, a heavenly sword and shield blessed by five of the divine Gods of creation. Lunafira, meaning ?bright fire? in Viper?s native tongue, identifies his weapon, a glorious silver-and-gold broadsword encased in undying phoenix flames. It is light as a feather, and harnesses the elements of wind, earth, fire, and electricity, as well as Viper?s inherent white magic. The Golden Defender, on the other hand, is a mirage in itself; a round, golden shield capable of withstanding almost any attack, whether set on Viper?s spirit or body. It amplifies his elemental magic and holds his inside dark energy, keeping his soul clean and simultaneously negating most forms of dark magic altogether. When it is not raised, it disappears from sight and mind, but as soon as Viper prepares for combat, it materializes reflexively in his grip.
Skills: As one could expect from a divine sorcerer, Viper?s intellect is vast and almost limitless, mostly derived from the century he spent in dimensional travel. His connection to the spirits of the Afterlife, though weak, gives him basic psychic powers like levitation or telepathy. In his travel, he has learned hundreds of combat techniques for almost any circumstance, making him a deadly foe to come across.
Magic: From his weapons, the elements of earth, wind, fire, and electricity; from his travels, ice and water; from his bloodline, light; and from his bondage with shadows, darkness. Such a wide variety of magic enables him to cast almost any spell of his day and age, and makes him more resistant to most forms of magic than the average warrior.
Appearance: Tall, muscle-bound and mystic. He wears a set of long white robes over his body that shine a bright pearl-blue in the right light, and often turn gold when he casts a spell. Long brown hair falls to his shoulders, obscuring his golden earrings. He has a pair of dark blue boots that can amplify his body weight if need be, making him light as a feather or impossibly heavy. His eyes are mostly gold, but there is a ring of grey around the pupils.
Personality: A true warrior in every sense of the word, Viper is smart, valiant, selfless, and generous. However, he lacks the emotions of a human, and therefore does not feel any remorse after killing or sadness after watching someone die.
History: When Viper was young, he watched his village die at the hands of a dark horde. He sought revenge against them, and after many years, found the man in charge of them ? Artemis, prince of darkness. He killed Artemis? physical form, but was stuck sharing a body with his spirit, until he cast a powerful spell to get rid of it. Unfortunately, this spell locked him out of his own dimension for a hundred years, during which time he traveled almost every plane of existence, met warriors from the past and future, and gained almost unrivalled skill and power. Now, he is able to return to his dimension, and finds it in ruin. Can he save it before it is too late?
Name: Artemis Kramer
Sex: Male
Age: 233 (looks two centuries younger)
Height: 6?10
Weight: 292 lbs
Weapons: Zahfira and the Dark Destroyer, a set of battle weapons crafted by the Dark God when he had absorbed the power of all his fellow deities. Zahfira, meaning ?dark fire? in his native tongue, identifies his six-foot-long black broadsword, which is encased in a nexus of elemental power. It grants him the ability to control the elements of wind, fire, earth, electricity, light, and darkness, and any being it touches will be stricken by each of these elements. The Dark Destroyer is a black, foot-long gauntlet adorning his left hand, made of the solid hide of an ancient dark demon. It has the ability to alter the force of kinetic energy and gravity, meaning that he can cause a limited degree of levitation to those around him, or crush or inflate an object on contact.
Skills: As one could expect from a rampant destroyer, Artemis has almost a limitless knowledge of warfare and combat, which is surpassed only by his intellect pertaining to the arcane arts. Also, due to the wings on his back, he is blessed with the power of flight.
Magic: From his weapons, psychic power and the elements of darkness, light, earth, wind, fire, and lighting; from his bloodline, darkness and spiritual energy; from his travels, water and ice. Such a varied arsenal of magic enables him to cast almost any spell from his day and age, and makes him more resistant to magic than a traditional warrior.
Appearance: Incredibly tall, very muscular. Artemis is clad in a demonic set of black and red clothes; a crimson cape with black streaks, a blood-red chest plate and fighter greaves, a black jeans and shirt, and a crown made of black diamond. In addition, he wears bright red boots over his feet, which can alter his size, making him extremely small or colossally large. His hair is golden and spiked over his forehead, and he has dark red eyes with especially large pupils. A pair of curved horns adorn his head, just behind his crown, and bat-like wings decorate his back.
Personality: Absolutely abhorrent. Cold, impolite, ruthless, and unmerciful. However, he does have a limited degree of morals, or at least it seems.
History: Little is known about Artemis? history before he became a spirit, but when he arrived in the Afterlife, he found himself able to control electricity. The king of the Afterlife saw this, and invited him to train with him, where he learned how to manipulate more elemental magic. One day, he was put to the test, when a warrior named Viper Servika destroyed the King?s army and infiltrated the Afterlife fortress. He lost to Viper, but used his dark magic to take over Viper?s soul, which lasted for three years. When Viper cast a powerful spell to eliminate him, he was banished to Hell for two centuries, although time in Hell proved to be twice as fast as any other dimension. In this time, he perfected his powers over the elements and struck a friendship with the Dark God, who, after absorbing the energy of the other deities, gave him a pair of weapons and sent him off back into the mortal world, where he sought to wreak havoc and destroy Viper for good.
Name: Lono Vitre
Sex: Male
Age: 27
Height: 6?3
Weight: 257 lbs
Weapons: Although he is capable of using almost anything as a weapon, Lono carries a pair of swords underneath his coat. The swords, named Inferno and Midnight, are respectively imbued with the element of fire and the shadows of the night. They enable him to use these powers, but also carry their own effects: Inferno?s blade has the ability to ?cut once and strike three times?. This means that, while Lono only swings the sword once, the blade cuts through his opponent, the flames tear through the skin, and a third slash of pure energy is taken on the victim?s mind. If this doesn?t kill an opponent, it can be used repeatedly, but the first set of strikes can mentally debilitate most enemies. His other sword, Midnight, can be swung with immense speed, though it strikes with crushing power as if it weighed more than steel. Compared to a traditional slash, Lono can swing his blade three times the normal speed of a warrior: he usually uses this ability to slit the opponent?s throat, slash open their stomach, and cut through their legs.
Skills: As a mercenary of his time, Lono can use almost any inanimate object as a tool of combat: he once defeated seven elite warriors using a steel bar without sustaining a hit. His swordplay is mastered to the best of his tactical ability, and his reflexes are more than twice as strong as the average warrior?s, not to mention his strikes. He is highly trained in unarmed combat, self-defense, and even martial arts, and can wield projectile weapons if the need arises with a very trained eye and supreme skill.
Magic: A supreme control over the shadows, which enables him to unlock a great power inside himself. This ranges from destructive attacks to powerful shields, and even includes the ability to hide himself in darkness and change his appearance. This shape-shifting power enables him to change his appearance into that of almost any living creature he?s seen in his lifetime, but feeds off his life energy. His invisibility has a similar effect. In addition, he can manipulate the element of fire, meaning that he can withstand extremely high temperature without sustaining burns. Also, because of his chilling black magic, he can stand through excruciatingly cold temperatures. His pyromancy enables him to create barriers and attacks with fire, and he can even use ?fire imitation?; a technique that enables him to completely duplicate any attack by withstanding its effects. However, the element of fire is used to sustain this power, so he cannot use any water or ice-based magic.
Appearance: Taller and far more muscle-bound than normal. He wears a long black overcoat and a black shirt tucked into black jeans that shows the hard muscles of his arms and stomach. He wears dark blue boots made of the skin of an extinct animal, but they have no magical ability. He has long, greased light brown hair, cold grey eyes, and a smooth grey stubble. His swords hang at his waist beneath his coat.
Personality: Incredibly calm, even in the roughest of situations. He has a knack for manipulating and persuading even the most adamant of enemies, and works only for himself, but will still form allegiences or packs if needed.
History: Lono was born in a broken home. His father was drafted to an elite service for his village when he was two, and his mother constantly abused him. When his father returned when he was ten, the abuse became worse, although it now included Lono?s mother. One day, when he was eleven, he arrived home and saw his mother badly beaten. This unlocked a boiling anger within him, and he found that he killed his father using dark magic, then continued beating on his mother for the abuse she?d inflicted on him as a child. He left her almost dead, then raided his house and left. He stopped at another village and crafted a sword, which immediately absorbed his dark magic and became his primary weapon. Later, he encountered a golem of fire and eventually dispatched it, but when it exploded, centuries of battle experience and supreme pyromancy was taken into his body, and he found himself able to control fire and almost any weapon. Since the tender age of fifteen, he has worked killing others for payment.
