Role Play: War of the Shadows

K.Cobb just nodded as he stood there.

"I won't pretend to be an expert on the ShadowBinders," said Zephyr. "Far from it. And unfortunately, I don't know where the main gateway to the Shadow World is."
"What do you know?" asked Chaos.
"I know that the ShadowBinders have sent their ultimate weapon after you four," said Zephyr. "Irmuhante, the reaper of souls. They created him a while back using dark magic. He's completely unstoppable, and he won't rest until he's destroyed all four of you."
"Brilliant," muttered Chaos. "Just perfect! Okay, now we have to stop this Irmuhante guy. Anyone got a plan?"

"Well thats great,a soul suckers after us and we don't know how to get to the gateway.Can this day get any more harder?"sighs and leans on a wall."Well,dark magic can be defeated by light magic,but you'd need an angel or a viel protector for that.I think i may have a few contacts,givsa sec."Walks over to them and gets out a feather she gave it to Jamarie and whispered in her ear.Jamarie nodded and disapeared in a flash of flame.

"perfect. this is great."
K.Cobb says crossing his arms.

"Look, no-one said this was gonna be easy," said Chaos. "All we can do for now is try and avoid Irmuhante long enough to find the gateway to the Shadow World."
"You really seem confident about this," said Zephyr. "I'd be shaking in my boots if I had the Reaper on my trail."
"What choice do we have?" asked Chaos. "Jade, what's happening over there? Any result?"
Chaos walked towards Jadey, but Zephyr whistled and stopped him.
"Chaos," he said. "Take this."
Zephyr tossed something to Chaos, who caught it automatically. It was a black orb, about the size of his fist. Its surface swirled with shadows like ripples on water.
"Found it in your dad's old place," said Zephyr. "I figured you might need it."
"Thanks," said Chaos. "So, Jade. What's the word?"

"Angels are a no-go,but i have a viel protector on the job,says she'll find out someway of killing Irmhuhante.we'll have to wait till she finds something i guess."Jadey said catching a feather in the air.

"What's a veil protector?" asked Chaos. "Sorry, mythology isn't my specialist subject."
"Whatever it is, I doubt it can stop the Reaper," said Zephyr. "I've fought him already. He's unstoppable. Nothing I did could even slow him down."
"Regardless, it's worth a try," said Chaos. "So, what is it?"

"A viel protector,well basically is a witch that protects the viel between earth and the demonic world.I'm not surprised you havent heard of them,they're very uncommon.There's only 5 of them,fire,wind,water,earth,and energy"

"Which demonic world would that be?" asked Chaos. "Obviously not the Shadow World. That's our job."

"Nobody knows,only few demons know of it"she said shrugging.

((Because every time I try to watch Sonic X, I'm bombarded with adverts for that new show, Witch.))

"So, how exactly are your friends going to help us beat the Reaper?" asked Zephyr.
"Whoa, whoa, hold up!" said Chaos. "Help us? You mean, including you?"
"Naturally," said Zephyr. "You didn't really think I'd bring you all the way out here and not reward you with the pleasure of my company?"
"If you're sure," growled Lowthos. "We're going to need all the help we can get."

"okay let me get this straight. Chaos your body has been possesed by LowThos. Jadey here can contact spirits and stuff as such. all four of us are desendents of four 'shadow warrioirs' and we have to stop the shadows from takeing over the world of light. okay i got it, slim chance of sucess certainty of death, seems like there isn't even a chance in hell for us. i'm in, what are we waiting on?"
K.Cobb said holding his hands out.
"i've always wanted to say that."
K.Cobb said kinda smiling.

"Now that you've officially joined the Union of Light, I think we should try and think of some way to stop Irmuhante," said Chaos. "As long as he's on the loose, we won't stand a chance. So, got any ideas, Cobb?"

"well, i have a few."
K.Cobb reached into his bookbag and pulled out a flashlight. the he shined it into a dark corner.
"do you see what happens when the light hits the shadows, it pushes darkness out of the way. i don't know if this will work against him but you never know until you try."

"I see where you're coming from with that," said Zephyr. "But the thing you have to realise is that Irmuhante himself is not a ShadowBinder. He was created by the Grand High Priest of the ShadowBinders. he is a golem with only one purpose; to destroy the four chosen ones."
"It's nice to be needed," said Chaos. "So the flashlight won't work on him?"
"No," said Zephyr. "It won't work on the ShadowBinders either. Right now, there's only one thing to do. We have to find that gateway."

Armour: Light breastplate. Can summon small cyclones for defence.
Appearance: Silvery hair down to his shoulders. Tall and slim. Always wears white, grey or light blue clothes. Rarely seen without his pet falcon, a black-plumed creature named Shadow
Personality: Remains calm under pressure. Good sense of humour. Always loyal to his friends.
Fighting style: His main combat style is an ancient practice of time and wind control using elbow blades. Zephyr has almost mastered this style, after studying it for 16 years.

As Chaos was about to respond, something was heard stomping towards them.
"What's that?" asked Chaos. "It's coming from Twilight Woods."
Zephyr swore under his breath.
"He's back," he said, his face paler than usual.
A huge figure lumbered towards them. It wore a massive suit of black armour, and carried a huge axe.
"I will destroy you, warriors of light," it roared. All the villagers ran into their houses as soon as it appeared.
"Is that Irmuhante?" asked Chaos. "Great, just great! Okay kids, put your fighting gloves on. We'll have to deal with this guy first."
Zephyr readied his blades as Chaos charged up the Glove of Lowthos.

"Oh crap,your uglyer than i thought you would be.What the?"A song and burst of light and a girl materialised from the ground,one from the air,another bursting from flame,and water took shape from a well of a girl,and a pink light and alast the 5th viel protector appeared.
"Talk about bloody good timing,girls!"she yelled over the booming voice of Iruhante.
