Pandora's Box:The Ledgend Of The King's Army

Jade sat down next to him wipping the tears comming from her.
Sphinx was apart of her,if she was gone,it would be taking all of her life away and of herself.

"She appears to be okay," said the doctor. "You got her to us just in time. She's lost a lot of blood, but there appears to be no internal damage."

"Thank god,"Jade muttered her face in her hands.

"Are you okay?" asked Chaos softly, putting one arm round Jade to comfort her.

"Yeah,it's just..i couldn't help thinking we lost her,"Jade said.

"She'll be fine," said Chaos. "I promise."

"Thanks,Chaos,"Jade said smiling weakly.

K.Cobb walks in with some flowers, takes a look at Chaos.
"how is she?"
K.Cobb said laying the flowers on a table in the room.
"Chaos back at the house you asked how i got off the plane withput anyone noticing and without a parachute. first off i was the first target, after i left the room because you wouldn't give me back my liter which you still owe me by the way. i walked into the hall and as i turned to go into the bathroom someone pulled a satcloth back over my head and a rope around my neck. they tied my hands and feet and tossed me out of the bathroom window. we were over a large body of water, i almost died of hypothermia. anyways i drifted around in the water for a hours."
K.Cobb pulled a levitation divice out of his shirt.
"this is what kept me afloat. i landed on the shores of and island in the caribean, and someone took me to a hospital. after that i hid in the cargo bay of a plane headed to the US. after it landed i jacked someones celli and called up ma man MCY and he came and picked me up."
K.Cobb looking at Jade then Sphynx then Choas.
"you don't have to believe the story but maybe this would prove it.
K.Cobb unbutton the collar of his shirt and showed Chaos a long stiching that ran across his collarbone.
"besides why would i have come back if i did help do whatever happened to Sphynx, knowing that i was going to have to face this? that doesn't make sense, i don't even care if you believe me or not."
K.Cobb said turning to leave.
"give her my best wishes when ever she wakes up. i'm out."
K.Cobb said walking out of the room.

"K.Cobb,you don't have to go,"Jade said shaking her head.

"He does," said Chaos angrily. "He's lying. I can see right through him. There were 8 people on that plane when it left; me, you, Zeph, Auron, Cobb, Sphinx, and the two pilots, who decided to get themselves ventilated for whatever reason. I checked every corner of that plane before we even took off. There was no-one else there. Not even Auron's little friend Asura was on that thing when it left. I know I didn't attack her, nor did you, or Jango. Sphinx is out of the question for obvious reasons, Auron's nearly got me convinced with his whole Asura bit, and the pilots got ventilated, as previously mentioned. That leaves just one person: K Cobb."

Jade stared at him.
"I know you want to lay it on someone,but we only have one suspect here,"She said.

"Then there's nobody else to blame," said Chaos, as though this settled the matter. Unless you have any better ideas, I suggest we take revenge on him before he decided to blow anyone else up."

"Oh god,"Jade muttered head in her hands again.

"Jade, he just tried to blow up most of the city with nearly half a tonne of Bombos charges," said Chaos. "You don't expect me to let him get away with that, do you?"

"No,"Jade said stiffly.
She paused.
"I'm getting a drink,ok?"
She left and headed for a coffee machine.

"Suit yourself," shrugged Chaos. "Bring me a latte, will you? Nearly getting blown up by traitors like Cobb makes me thirsty."

Jade returned with the drinks.
"here,"She said rather heavily and gave him his latte.She sat down again as Sphinx woke.
"Hi,guys,"She croked when she'd fianlly found her voice again.

"Thank the Gods," muttered Chaos. "Are you okay, Sphinx?"

"I'm fine,but I think I've got more bruses than last time.What happened?"She asked sitting up with difficulty.

"Someone tied you up in a warehouse full of my favourite firecrackers," said Chaos. "Being the hero that I am, I defused them. I think... no, I'm certain K Cobb had something to do with it."
