I don't know, but anyhow, what do you think the spring does?

I think the item (we haven't proven it's a spring yet) could do anything, since I'm not sure what it's a picture of anyway.

Now we've got that turbo booster thing out the way we can figure out the super spring

"1) In Crash Team Racing, what is the "Super Spring" and why was it taken out of the game? What did it do when used?"

Now, we've uncovered the mystery of the Turbo capsule. I'm very happy about this And I've also found out loads more about the Super Spring.

Could you give more more links and (most of all) a clearer picture?

WHAT WE KNOW

The Springs. Ok, so they were a weapon taken out, but possibly accessible via GameShark. They could be a battle mode only, to dodge weapons, or all modes. It could be used for shortcuts, to make them easier to access. It could be many other things, which are unknown.

Yeah, it's skimpy, but I don't know much.

We also don't know if it actually is a Spring. We're pretty sure, but the image is still to fuzzy.

I could have found one, but I'm a tad secretive about what I have to express about the power-up until I finish researching it.
