I might play MGS4 first, just so I can see what happens and all that, thatd be kool if MGO tied in with the storyline somehow.

Yeah me too.
MGO doesn't tie in with the story it just has maps based on the games in the series and some of the characters make an appearance.

Yes, there was a girl featured in it, it was who you played as. She was from rumble roses apparently, another game made by Konami.+
