However speaking of the Evo X for speed challenge.
I can't remember if I did, but I think I might have put up a set up for it a couple of pages back.
And if I haven't then it's going to take a while to get it back since my file got corrupted again. -_-

Needed some help from you professional's out there...

A NFS tournament is coming up and the only car allowed is the 911 Turbo. But the problem is the blueprint cannot be changed nor modified since their profile is set up that way. The only changes that can be done is the "Car Tuning".

I would like you guys to help me out with the tuning of the 911 Turbo and i think its in Stage 3 or 4 (Not sure) T_T .

The tracks for the tournament are: [Grip Races] :
1) Autopolis - GP Circuit
2) Chicago Airfield - Airport Long
3) Infineon - GP Circuit
4) Willow Springs - Short Circuit B
5) Texas Speedway - GP Circuit A.

Please help me out.

Yeah I have one.
Although it's for stage 4, it should still work for stage 3.

Don't bother with upgrading the brakes, but stage 3 for everything else.
Body:
Spoiler: Genterra 204
Spoiler Zones in order: 75, 50, 100, 35
Hood: leave at stock
Stratos Widebody kit 7: leave all zones as they are
Wheels: zone 3: 50%

The only set up changes that you really have to make for the RX-7 are as follows
Ride Height: minimum
F and R Tyre pressures: lowest
Start and End Boost: +10

Then afterwards stock the tyres.
Status = Part Time.

on ppls, im currently on holidays so yeah.

also i have something here for someone to try out for me.

~awd drag trial~

basicly i wanna know how well this will work.

all stage 3 parts.

BRAKES
Bias_ all to the front
brake pressure_ max
handbrake pressure_ max

ok the purpose of this is to help "lock" the front drive axle when on take, eg handles more like a rwd for drag.

also to try this practice a drag race but instead of taking off put the brake on and then use put the throttle on. this should cause the car to do a burnout and if this tuning has helped then the car shouldnt move and only the rear axle will be producing smoke. so pls let me know how well this goes. also another thing is during this process release the brake with your hand on the throttle so the car should take off with a flying start.

I haven't tried it yet for grip, but as a general tuning guide is that you would have a forward mechanical bias i.e. stiffer front and softer rear, but because this is AWD it might be the case that you need an all stiff suspension to avoid the hideous understeer.
That and could you also provide a picture of your Supra doing those times?

In general for the suspension: maximum stiffness with the exception of the R Rebound rate. That should be + 8 or + 9
Fairly low tyre pressure. Lowest if necessary.
Toe: 0
Camber: + 3
Caster: + 10
Steering Ratio: - 10
(Yes I am aware this is different than my previous tuning set up, but my driving style has changed a lot since then)

Engine:
CAM Timing: 0
Start and End Boost: + 10
Nitrous Pressure and Jetting Flow Rate: 0
Brakes:
Bias: - 5
Pressure: +10

Thanks for your help Kenny Smile...

I was using the previous settings which you had posted and that was helping me out great, although I am a auto-geared driver :(... Trying to start practicing on manual, but its difficult.
Will try the new settings today.

Btw.. you had given in your previous tunings, to make the final drive ratio in the gear box settings to +1. Will that take any effect even when car in driven in auto...?

PS: Should the Front Shock Rebound and the springs also be maxed out?

Using manual should be a natural kind of thing. Just listen to the engine when the revs are running up.
It should yes still affect the automatic gearbox. Though keep your eyes on this space. I'm going to try out some new ratios for the gearbox.
And yes the F Rebound and Sprins should be "maxed" out at stiffest.

Hence the brake bias being as it is.
And the steering ratio set at -10 because it makes the steering looser and a bit more responsive due which is a huge help when it's 4WD. lol

All the more reason for the Steering ratio at -10 lol
@racer123: Here is my set up that can get a Zonda through the quarter mile in about 5.5 seconds.
All Stage 4, but then re-stock the suspension and brakes afterwards.
Suspension:
All soft front
All stiff rear
Ride Height: lowest
F Tyre pressure: + 10
R Tyre pressure: - 10
Leave Camber, Caster, Toe and Steering ratio alone.
Engine:
Everything +10
Gear ratios: (You only need to use 4 gears for this car)
1) + 10
2) +9
3) +9
4) + 10
Final drive ratio: + 10
Brakes: (don't ask why, but having this set up for the brakes work)
Brake pressure: + 10
Handbrake pressure: + 10

Remember to re-stock the suspension and brakes

Body modifications
Stock carbon fibre hood
Widebody kit, but leave at 0%
Spoiler 403, zone 3: 100% (leave the other 2 zones)

Well... since people these days play manual trying myself to adjust to it... although finding it pretty tough to manage...

Guess an auto driver wont be a good opponent to a guy who drives in manual, no matter how much the vehicle is tuned ...
