* They are set in a region different to Kanto, Johto & Hoenn but contains old Pok�mon aswell as the new ones and is called Shinou. In which you start in Futaba Town
* You are capable of transferring your hard trained Pok�mon from Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed & LeafGreen to these games after certain criterea have been met in Diamond & Pearl
* DP will use the DS's Wireless Capabilities and allow for up to 16 Players to be linked at once in a Union Room style situation
* There will be no new Pok�mon types but new type combinations such as Steel/Fighting
* Day/Night Feature makes a welcome return
* The Pok�dex now features a weight comparison feature. The height and weight comparisons allow you to put your own height and weight in and compare with the Pok�mon
* The Watch acts as a Pok�Nav called Pok�tchi and has over 20 Features: Time Management, Monitoring of Pok�mon in the Breeding Center, Type Chart and many more
* Voice Chat over Nintendo WiFi Connection
* Linkable with Pok�mon Battle Revolution

Isn't another thing new about Pokemon Diamond? Like the genders of the Pokemon? If the pokemon is male, it is bigger than female or something like that.

According to Serebii, the English name of Tamanta, is Mantyke. I think that the name is cute.

Yeah Mantyke is a cute name and it fits the pokemon well. Just wish they would hurry up with the rest of the English names.

Updated(Even though I knew my mistakes but was too busy to update).

It has been released that Elekible is to be Electivire in the Englich version.

No offense to Game Freaks or Nintendo but some of these English names are not doing too hot from the Japanese translation. Thank Goodness you can nickname your own pokemon.

I agree with that, and Ima most likely be nicknaming all my battle pokemon, but the ones that I catch to be catchin will not be nicknamed unless I think of sumthin at that moment. XD

The only ones so far that I like are Lucario, Mantyke, Dialga, Palkia, and Manaphy.

But Chatot, Buizel, and Electivire are really bad.

I like Diaruga, thats wut Im goin to nickname the english Dialga, I think its cuz I been sayin "Diaruga" every since July 23, 2006, lol thats how long Ive been knowin about this game, and still waitin to buy it in April, but I guess its better to wait... XD

I think I will keep the Jap name for Dialga and I already got a Nickname for Palkia as well. I think the best on so far was Mantyke because it fits really well with that pokemon. Chatot is not better than the Jap name either.
