Who do you begin the game with?

i used feraligatr the whole way through, without using a single other pokemon...bu focus training on a pokemon makes it go up levels faster so, feraligatr was usually abou ten levels high than the gym leaders pokemon...

I neevr train up one pok�mon, I train them all up so they're all around the same levels.

Its always between Cyndaquil and Totodile. But mostly Totodile. I did have a game when I had them all at lv 60 something, but my stupid siblings went and erased that game. I had worked sooo hard on it.

lol i started with all of them =] its not a game link trade thing its an in game "trade" where you get all of the three starters...
if you want me to explain it just go to the cheats
however i started with cyndaquil....

i like cyndaquil he is very strong

I usually used to start with Totodile but then decided I liked Cyndaquil better.

Chikorita is weak against many pok�mon(because it is a grass pok�mon), i always start with totdile and i think it has so much better damage!

i prefer to start with totodile cos a water pokemon is more usefull in the game

Grass could be said to be useful. Totodile does come in handy, yes.

cyndaquil for sure.

Cyndaquil is the best since it's final form is very powerful. I used to use Todadile because I always used Squirtle on earlier versions. I don't normally use grass pokemon because their best moves don't have much PP. Chikorita is recommended for advanced players anyways. It is weak against a lot of Pokemon types: Flying, Psychic, Fire, Ice and Bug/Poison (if I'm not mistaken).

Chikorita is recommended for no one. He's horrible. The worst Grass starter ever.

Chikorita is only for those who want a challenge. If I was very board with the game, I'd start over with a grass team to make things a little intresting.

I thought the grass type is weak against Psychic attacks. I believe Venasaur is, so would that make him a dual-type?

Venusaur is also Poison. Poison is weak to Psychic.

Thanks ShadowGX I figured that out after I used Gameshark... But then still Chikorita is weak against 4-5 types.

I picked Totodile got it to a high level then beat the game and then i tried Cyndiquil game went better i havent chicorita
