DS remake of Ruby?

Ya, that would work, I suppose the games would center around bad teams such as Team Dark and Team Light, Team Light would be a good team though if you was playing the Dark game.

I don't think they will make a DS version of Ruby...not yet i guess..I would them to make the DS version of Pokemon Yellow, Crystal,Gold and Silver

I really liked yellow..it was the first pokemon game i ever played and i liked the way you get all the starters and pikachu is always following you all the time..Crystal,Gold and Silver are the only game's that is settled in johto and back in the old days the game has bad graphics so if they are reamking it that would be great. Although the chances of GameFreak and Nintendo doing that is 10% at least

Yellow is great, although I use Vaporeon instead of Blastoise anyway. The old graphics are actually okay. Use the move Psychic on G/S/C. It looks (and sounds) fantastic if you ask me. There is always a chance.

It would still be great if they make a new version of G/S/C and or Yellow.

I prefered the G/S/C version of Psybeam to the new one. Psychic has always been cool.

But on-topic: Pok�mon Gold and Silver should be remade for either GBA or DS (preferably DS, though). Besides the upcoming Diamond/Pearl, it was the only games with the Day/Night feature. And the only one with more than one region in the game (unless you consider the Sevii Islands as regions).

Sevii island's are not regions at all..they are just islands on the outskirts of Kanto.

I was just wondering is DP available only in DS?

and yeah, it's only available on the DS... it uses the dual screen system extensively in its gameplay (the whole underground excavataion etc)

It looks pretty good...
