I expect Manny to beat Mayweather.At this point in time i say boxing has a lost a lot of popularity.I don't watch it but I know that since the greats like Evander Holyfield have left boxings been on a downhill curve.

If the fight does take place Mayweathers inactivity the last couple of years will hurt him. At the top of his game Mayweather has the speed and defence to cause Pacquio lots of problems.

So has anyone been watching The Ultimate Fighter?, the finals take place this saturday and in the finals is Brizilian Jiu Jutsu Specialist Roy Nelson taking on the Power House Brendan Schaub, also taking place on that night Kimbo Slice will be taking on Huston Alexander, that should be an intresting bout.

Mayweather and Pacquio fight is gonna happen. Mayweather agreed to terms to fight Pacquio. Within 2 years I'm guessing the fight will happen. Probably one of the best fights we will ever see.

Zelda Fan i think Huston and Roy will win.

In my opinion I thought the Kimbo and the Houston fight should of been a draw, and I agree with Roy Nelson, and he did win.

I wonder if Mayweather will take a tune-up fight as he has only fought once in about two years and Pacquio is more than capable of beating him if he doesn't enter the ring in top form.

So what did you guys think of Cung Le's return to the ring?

Oh and not that anyone cares, but I just recently got my Black Belt in Brizilian Jiu Jutsu, so I'm pretty pround of that haha.

Congratulations, how many years did it take for you to reach that grade?

It took me six long years, but it feels great haha.

If getting a black belt in any martial art was easy everyone would have one and it wouldn't be such a sweet achievement. Are there any black belt Dans you in Brizilian Jiu Jutsu?

shodan - first degree black belt
nidan - second degree black belt
sandan - third degree black belt
yondan - fourth degree black belt
godan - fifth degree black belt
rokudan - sixth degree black belt
shichidan - seventh degree black belt (also, nanadan)
hachidan - eighth degree black belt
kyudan - ninth degree black belt
judan - tenth degree black belt

No, Japanese Jiu Jutsu is way diffrent then Brizilian Jiu Jutsu, and I mean WAY diffrent, Brizilian Jiu Jutsu is much more difficult to do, I'm not saying Japanese Jiu Jutsu is easy, but in my opinion Brizilian Jiu Jutsu is a lot more confusing and more difficult to pull off etc, also in my opinion I find it easy to get out of Japanese holds, there not really submissions, just positions really.

No Brizilian Jiu Jutsu is not centuries old, and no the Gracie family did not create it, Brizilian Jiu Jutsu originally came from Japanese Jiu Jutsu, but the Gracie family just perfected it and made it what it is today.

How does Brazilian Jui Jitsu compare to Bruce Lee's Jeet Kun-Do?

I don't really know much about Jeet Kun-Do only that its a style of blocking and countering etc, I think its basicly everything, punching kicking grappling, but I could be wrong, while Brizilian Jiu Jutsu just focuses on grappling, and its probably more significant then Jeet Kun-Do way of grappling.

Just before I left England to go to Spain Val Tudo was becoming very popular, is that a style you familiar with as I believe this is also Brazilian in origin?

Vale Tudo is a no holds barred kinda match, it isn't really a style, it was actually allowed back in the late UFC days, but now isn't because of the rules etc. Brizilian Jiu Jutsu is very dangerous in this kind of stipulation, if the guy refuses to tap out then ref will not stop it intil he has tapped. Lets say an armbar for example, the guy who is not tapping out is risking a broken arm, and now a days if a ref sees a submissison hold locked in, and its in deep and has been held for a long period of time, they will stop the match rather the guy has tapped or not tapped at all, and yes you are right, it does come from Brizil.

i thought he was training to be a UFC fighter?

oh and does that mean zelda fan if the guy gets a right hook and goes down and the other guy jumps on him and just punches him and the other guy is defenceles the ref wont stop it.
