All the way to the Super Bowl.

Edit - We should do a SuperCheats Fantasy Football league if it isn't to late! We could have some real fun!

Sounds like a good idea, how does it work? What do we have to do? How many people do we need?

All I know is when John Riggins was playing he used to run all over the Patriots, come to think of it he used to run over every team.

We can do one here - http://football.fantasyspor...p?id=sem & I also think NFL has one - If you wanna set it up and invite anyone who wants to play. You can have as many as you want to play. If you want I can set it up.

Edit - I went to set one up - What would be a good time and date for a draft? Make sure anyone who wants to play can make it.

Edit Again - You can have 4 - 20 teams.

Sanzano said:Preseason results mean absolutely nothing, it's just a warmup for the start of the season so I wouldn't take any notice of them. On September the 8th, that's when things matter. Could someone please explain to me how the odds work in the US, I've never seen this system before.

New England Patriots +700
Seattle Seahawks +800
Green Bay Packers +1000
Pittsburgh Steelers +1000
Carolina Panthers +1100
Arizona Cardinals +1400
Denver Broncos +1600
Cincinnati Bengals +1800
Dallas Cowboys +2200
Minnesota Vikings +2200
Indianapolis Colts +2200
Kansas City Chiefs +2500
New York Giants +2500
Oakland Raiders +2500
Baltimore Ravens +3300
Houston Texans +3300
New York Jets +4000
Washington Redskins +4000
Atlanta Falcons +5000
Buffalo Bills +5000
Chicago Bears +5000
Los Angeles Rams +5000
Philadelphia Eagles +5000
Detroit Lions +6600
Jacksonville Jaguars +6600
Miami Dolphins +6600
New Orleans Saints +6600
San Diego Chargers +6600
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +7500
Cleveland Browns +10000
San Francisco 49ers +10000
Tennessee Titans +10000

+10,000 = 100/1 odds
+6,600 = 66/1 odds
+700 = 7/1 odds
etc...

I believe these are odds for the team winning the Superbowl.

Thanks K Dawg, I think it makes sense now. So am I right in saying the Washington Redskins would be 40/1 to win the Super Bowl?

Seattle at 8-1 looks like a good bet, you know they are going to be there or thereabouts with that 'Legion of Boom' defense.

According to the Line, 40/1 would be correct.

Seattle will be there, along with the Patriots... Like every single year haha.

And the stunt Kaepernick pulled off the other day was pathetic.

What will Kaepernick do with all those red indian helmets in his face if the SF 49rs have to face the Washington Redskins at some point of the season.

Why is the Washington Redskins logo all of a sudden offensive, nobody ever said anything about it up until a few years ago. I personally think it looks great. Why does nobody say anything about the Kansas City Chiefs, their obviously indians as well, or the Buccaneers and Raiders which suggests they are murderers, rapists, and thieves.

Its all ridiculous in my opinion. Its a logo, get over it.

Really has to do with certain groups getting privileges because of certain race/ethnicities so now all the other ethnicities want a piece of the pie. As far as I'm concerned it happened in the past, and I'm not accountable for what my great great great uncles may have done or did to you.

I make you right K Dawg, I feel exactly the same way about it. In fact if I was a North American native I would not have a problem with my ancestors being depicted as proud warriors.

Sounds like that debacle is just stupid. Who cares what the logo is? It was obviously approved when it was created so why is it not being approved by now?

On a different subject, are Denver in trouble without Manning?

Trevor Siemian, Trevor who?!!!

'The last time Siemian started a game, it was for Northwestern on Nov. 22, 2014 at Purdue'.

Yes, I think the Denver Broncos are in trouble if they are going with Trevor Sieman. What's wrong with Mark Sanchez, at least he has NFL experience and has been to the playoffs, even if he does have a habit of choking when he reaches them. Apparently Trevor Siemian learnt a lot from Peyton Manning last year when the Broncos won the Super Bowl. I personally think Sieman will get dropped about week 3 of the NFL season and replaced with Sanchez and the Broncos will get a Wild Card place and lose that game whoever it's against. What do you think?

The thing is I'm still really new to NFL. 10 months ago I had no interest in it and knew no rules whatsoever. I don't know a lot of the specifics (who's playing for who, who's getting kicked out of which teams, which teams are all time greats, which players are good/bad etc). I go by the win-loss record to see teams' form. I also know scores and results of recent games. That's why there was that post of mine that had preseason scores.

Basically during the 60's it was the Green Bay Packers, the 70's were the Pittsburgh Steelers, the 80's belonged to the San Francisco 49rs and the 90's were the Dallas Cowboys. Ever since then it's basically been Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. There have been a few good teams inbetween that have had a couple of good seasons like the Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders, and Washington Redskins. The Denver Broncos have no chance of repeating with Peyton Manning gone.

By the way what is it with teams choking under certain circumstances? Cincinnati choke in primetime games and Playoffs (won I think 1/4 primetime games last season and lost their Playoff game in the last 30 seconds), Arizona choke often in Playoff games, New England often choke against Miami (failed to win #1 AFC spot), and Seattle often choke against Los Angeles/St. Louis.

I have no idea, I remember the Oakland Raiders during the 70's and 80's having a 23 and 2 record on Monday Night Football. Those old Oakland teams were real bad asses.

Matt:

Cincinnati - Mediocre coach + semi decent QB.

Arizona - QB choked because he really had never been in such pressure cooker games.

Patriots- Only happens in December with like 90 degree heat in Miami. lol

Seattle - Ehh... Nobody is perfect... ;)
