Why are there never any decent players for important roles for several teams? About half the teams have a QB that has little to no future or is a very average player and there are several that "have no decent running backs". You'd think that America would have enough people to find some decent players for all teams.

The problem is for players to make the transition from college to the NFL they need to be given a chance to develop and no team likes playing rookies in the skill positions unless they were an exceptional talent in college.
Seems strange seeing as it is key to have a good QB to be able to even make Playoffs let alone the Superbowl.
On a side note who wins tonight's game? I had New York Jets winning this game 20-13 but who knows. Putting up one score isn't gonna cut it for Buffalo.

Who do you think will be the last unbeaten team this season? I think it will be Pittsburgh, if they keep playing like they did against Washington there's not many teams out there that can beat them.
For me it will come down to Pittsburgh, Green Bay & New England.
Cincinnati are a good side but they play the Steelers this week. They also have a primetime game in week 4 which they are bound to lose. Seattle usually have shaky starts to seasons and they have the Rams this week which isn't good for them. I'm not sure whether Denver can score enough if they somehow end up in a shootout or versing a high-scoring team. Kansas City don't seem too bad but they have some tricky games coming up.

Yeah, I think you're really right, it's going to be one of those teams. Personally I'm sick of seeing the Patriots in the post season, It would be nice to see someone new there.
My money is on New England, but only if they can go 4-0 without Brady. They could very well lose before that time, since they play every team in division for next three weeks.
From there, probably one of the three from the AFC North. And I wouldn't be surprised if that means Cincinnati or Baltimore. It all just depends how the chips fall.
I don't know about Green Bay though. I know the Jaguars are up and coming, but they still should've throttled them.
Carolina defeated San Francisco 46-27 Dallas defeated Washington 27-23 Pittsburgh defeated Cincinnati 24-16 New York Giants defeated New Orleans 16-13 New England defeated Miami 31-24 Houston defeated Kansas City 19-12 Tennessee defeated Detroit 16-15 after trailing 3-15 Baltimore defeated Cleveland 25-20 after trailing 0-20 Los Angeles defeated Seattle 9-3 Arizona defeated Tampa Bay 40-7 San Diego defeated Jacksonville 38-14 Atlanta defeated Oakland 35-28 Denver defeated Indianapolis 34-20 Minnesota defeated Green Bay 17-14 after trailing 0-7

Redskins lost again because they don't have a decent running game. Kirk Cousins shouldn't be the third rated best passer in the league while the running game comes in at 26th.
I'm surprised Seattle lost to the Rams, looks like they have a problem on offense if they could only score 3 points, the Seattle defense done their job holding the opposition to only 9 points.
Seattle are ranked lone 31st for touchdowns scored (32nd isn't even the Eagles or Bears who have only played 1 game) and also 31st in points for regardless Chicago score a safety tomorrow. They scored 12 against the Phins who are destined for another week 16 exit, and 3 against Los Angeles who were shut out and gave up 28pts against the lowly 49ers.

I bet there is some upset players in the Seattle defense, reminds me of the situation with the Chicago Bears of the early 80's who had a great defense but the offense was terrible apart from Walter Peyton. It's no good having the best defense in the league if the offense is hopless. Why are the Seahawks suddenly so useless?
Perhaps their time is up. They won one or two Superbowls didn't they? Maybe the current team is just fading away, I'm not sure. But I'm enjoying it. I hate the Seahawks. Their next 4 opponents are: (H = Home Game, A = Away Game)
San Francisco H New York Jets A BYE Atlanta H Arizona A
Out of this I predict them beating San Francisco and Atlanta. New York and Arizona will destroy them if they don't improve quickly. And they have to play them both away from home.

Who do you think will be the next mediocre team to improve and make their first appearance in a Divisional Playoff in recent years? I was hoping it would be the Redskins but that is looking unlikely this year with their p!ss poor running backs. So annoyed the lost to Dallas this week, that was an important game and it was also the Cowboys who I hate.
I know it's early but it looks like New York Giants are a slight class above the rest of their division. The Skins are unpredictable at the moment, Dallas always get key injuries, and the Eagles have only played one game against Cleveland. I know it's early but I'm tipping to make the playoffs:
New England Pittsburgh Houston Denver Philadelphia Minnesota Carolina Arizona
Cincinnati New York Jets Green Bay Seattle

I actually picked the Rams to upset Seattle. The Rams always play Seattle tough, for whatever reason it may be. I will agree that Seattle is not looking great though.
What do you think about the NFL extending in a few years to include a couple of teams from Europe, there are plans for one to be based in London and the other in Germany? The NFL have been playing games at Wembley in London each year since 1986 when the Bears defeated the Cowboys 17-6. The talk is that there will be a London team in place within the next six years.
