"What are you talking about?" Koulin asked,rotating his wrists. "But I know one thing...a Destroyer is here." Koulin muttered,his gloves emitting a holy light. He then looked up and down at Blade,abruptly smiling. "I sense great courage within you,for you bare the same mark I do." Koulin explained,holding his right hand up,a diamond of courage appering on the back of his right hand.

"A courage knight....pathetic how one would be so foolish to challenge the Destroyer especially since there are only two of you"Garaso laughed "NOW FEEL MY WRATH!!!!"Garaso shouted unleahing his darkness into the alley but did not grab Koulin or Blade it just made the background dark

"Nice" Blade said as he held up his mark as well "And if I know one thing, light trumps dark every time" Blade said as he sent a blast of light that cancled out the darkness

"Don't underestimate the power of Odinious..." Koulin muttered,using his ankle braces to move at the speed of light.

"Shadow soldiers? that's the best thing you can come up with?" Blade laughed as he sliced right through one.

"They are just pawns in a game of chess my boy"Garso laughed again his voice echoed through the darkness that seems to go on forever. "Now you will feel pain when i summon the shadow queen but let's take it slow by summoning a couple of Shadow knights"

Joulin tossed the Shadow soldiers aside,breaking another's skull with his bare hands. "Damn it,he got away." Koulin cursed,doing a jumping kick on an approaching Shadow Soldier.

"I know who to take it out on though" Blade said as he beheaded three clones, making them all disappear

Koulin then looked over at Blade,feeling a bit ashamed. "How rude of me,I didn't properly intrduce myself..." Koulin said,extending his hand out for Blade to shake. "The names Koulin Burrzahd,but I'd prefer Kou if you don't mind." Koulin stated,smiling.

"Name's Blade" He said, shaking Koulin's hand "Great to meet you Kou"

"Blade eh?" Koulin asked,shaking his hand,and then letting go. "Your mom name you that?" Koulin asked,a bit curious.

Noting still more darkness, Murduroy asked the alchemist, "What seems to be going on? Any important events happened lately? I'm from out of town, just arrived."

((Sweet. Mazika, dramatic enterance - stage left.))

A blunt male voice penetrated the air, which had already been filled with the sounds of metal on metal as Blade and Koulin crossed blades with Garaso's dark creatures. A shaft of blazing light burst from above, striking one of the entities in its chest and splitting it open, propelling a barrage of shadows throughout the alley, each choosing a different path by which to drift away into the distance.

"I underestimated you but i will not make that mistake again"Garaso said summoning a few more shadow soldiers and taking off to another place

Evvenn charged into the dark alley, "Where is he? Where is the Destroyer!?" he shouted to Blade and Koulin.

Droplets of water were propelled from a puddle as a pair of boots crashed into it, their owner landing gracefully in a dramatic flair. His predominant features were long brown hair, a black cloak that draped over his tall and muscular figure, and a thick white broadsword measuring five feet in length in the grip of a steel gauntlet worn over his right hand.
"Greetings," he said firmly, glancing at Blade and Kou. "My name is Mazika Rathas, but we can get formally acquainted later. Have you any idea what these creatures are?"

Koulin's gloves glimmered. "Ah,a force that beckons wisdom..." Koulin stated,turning to Mazika. "Tell me something,do you seek...The Source?" Koulin asked,wanting to test his theory,to see if he was friend,or foe.
