who is the best starter arguement

yah but the fishermen are easy

Take out Fisherman with Ampharos or anything else that's called a good Electric type. Don't get Meganium for just for that.

Yah, but Meganium can help against rock pokemon, such as the Hikers. But they are the easiest trainers, next to the fishermen.

I know, but when I started my Silver the first time, damn why did I choose Chikorita, I used it only against Hikers and Fishermen, lol. My other things owned, but then I started over and used Totidile.

Yah I usualy started off with totidille.

Treeko is my best starter because the first bit of trainers on emerald are what it's good against.

Blademaster55: That's where my cute little Quagsire comes in handy.

Espeondude_: I always start off with Cyndaquil on Gold and Crystal (my Silver doesn't work anymore) because of the rarity of good Fire types. Although in the past I have wiped out the game easily with just an Alakazaam, Machamp and Quagsire.

Pok�Fan Dylan: That doesn't make it the best starter. Although it is one of them.

The best starter is Naetou you know the starter on D/P.

We can't offically say "Naetoru is the best!" because we have not used him in battle, and just knowing moves from him does not make him the best. Although he does look cool

Feraligatr can be a monster when used right.
Swords Dance, Earthquake, Rock Slide, and Aerial Ace = Very good set, get a swords dance in and it will 3hko anything, 3 swords dances and everything except for physical walls die.

I wouldn't be too sure yet. But Grass/Ground is an interesting combination. He's the first stater I want to try out anyway.

every starter has weakness and advantages. but as what nintendo dude says about the starter from swampert to meganium, i kinda agree about it. but every game i always start with a fire type, since it's rare and hard to find strong fire types in every game i played.

me i'm just weird i dont think any of the starters are the best i just choose the starter who is the type as the color of the game.

Most Dragons are 4x weak to Ice. Swampert is 4x weak to Grass and do people complain?

advantage is, swampert is stronger tham electric and rock types. and he learns one of the good moves-EARHTQUAKE

I sitll think he'd be better than the monkey thing. I would have preferred Swampert to have been Ice/Ground, because Ice Beam is more essential on him than Surf. But being Ice/Ground would cancel his starter status.
