The chances of hatching a shiny are the exact same as finding one. (1/8192) The only exception to this is the egg in Crystal, which has a 50% chance of being shiny.

I thought that was 1/7 chance?

Meh, whatever. It's more common that hatches into a Shiny that any other Pok�mon, with of course, the exception of the Red Gyarados.

A remake of gold and silver would be good, but you would think the shiny % would be changed though.

Anyone is welcome to use some of my stocks.

What shiny pokemon actually look better than the originals? Besides gyarados/scyther/scizor? anywhere i can find pictures of shinys?

hmm..i saw a picture of a shiny charizard:



and charmeleon just so happens to be my favorite, always has been since pokemon red. So will he be black like this too? I know they keep their shinyness when they evolve but is it generally the same color?
