Before I ask my next question, let me give you the reasoning behind it: first of all, Batman has high-tech gadgets and tools, but where does he get the money it would take to develop them? Obviously, he must have access to money. Now, Wayne Tech could develop that kind of technology, so Batman must be somebody who works for Wayne Tech, possibly in the R&D department. But, then, someone higher up would wonder where that money is going when they have no product so show for it, and could easily trace that to the employee that was spending it for Batman's gadgets. Unless the person who was using that money was the head of the company, Bruce Wayne.

So my question is, how come nobody in Gotham City even suspects that Batman is really Bruce Wayne.

Because if everyone knew who Batman was, he wouldn't be able to fight crime, so there would be no plot and the whole series would end.
