Haskins' NFL starter career is over. Alex Smith is the backup...
His stats last week were 32/45 (71%) for 314 yards (9.8 yard PP), 0TDs & 0INTs. On paper that is one of, if not his best game of his career. This is clearly discipline related.

League may be all types of screwed with Gilmore testing positive, more Titans players positive, and a Raiders player positive.

The Titans should be punished for all of this. Two days without a positive test, and then two players go and mess it all up. The Steelers are already irate by the fact that they lost a nice Week 8 Bye because of them, and the Bills will be furious if their game is ruined because of these latest cases. Take draft picks away.

That said, at least the recent Titan players take responsibility for their actions. Gilmore isn't fooling anyone by saying he followed all the protocols. Testing negative through the Chiefs match up, and then you suddenly test positive roughly 36 hours after that. Nah. We all know you went out during that time and got exposed.

Well the NFL have threatened to forfeit teams if they have to postpone a game, suspend players, dock draft picks, and hand out fines worth hundreds of thousands. They are determined to get through the season. If they don't, it will be an absolute nightmare.

Haskins benched, it was only a matter of time. Rivera will move on from him and Alex Smith in the offseason. Kyle Allen looks pretty good from the highlights I have seen from his tenure in Carolina. I bet Rivera is kicking himself, he could have got rid of Haskins on day one and brought in Cam Newton before Belichick jumped in there. Nobody would have blamed him, Haskins wasn't one of his draft picks. I'm wondering if the N.Jets select Lawrence the Redskins won't make a play for Darnold for a second or third round pick to back up Allen.

Matt - problem is if you force teams to forfeit, does the other team get a free win? Say the Bills/Titans game is forfeited, should the Bills get a win? In that case, should the Steelers get a free win for their postponed game against the Titans? Logic would say yes, but we all know the NFL wants that game played for $$$.

I would have to imagine that the Bills would get a free win and the Titans lose if it gets cancelled. I don't think they will retroactive it since the Steelers/Titans Game has already been rescheduled.

Titans deserve everything that comes to them if they have to cancel another game. Horrible leadership, poor personal responsibility.

I completely agree. You'd have to think they would've had to have done a forfeit if the Steelers/Ravens Game & Bye Weeks were almost perfectly available. But that's done now.

No Pats of Chiefs have tested positive yet. Yeah, Gilmore following protocols looks real legit by the passing day.

Bills/Titans is looking like it's gonna be postponed to Monday or Tuesday. They should make them forfeit at least a 3rd Rounder if that happens. That should make the Titans Leadership crack the whip.

I've also read that if a team has to forfeit, neither team gets their game check. You'd think these guys would take this seriously.

I would imagine if one team forfeits, the other team would get the win automatically. I think it was just the NFL trying to scare teams into following the protocols. But we'll see.

Dennis- Kyle Allen isn't that good. His first half of last season at Carolina was decent, but he was absolutely awful in the 2nd half. He's the kind of player who can play well in a short-burst of games, but in the long run will start throwing INTs and fumbling. Darnold is a good QB. It's just that he's playing under Gase, who has ruined his career with mind-blowingly bad play calling.

Chicago beat Tampa Bay 20-19 in a big shock. Tampa Bay lead 13-0, before being outscored 6-20 for the rest of the game. Chicago are 4-1

EDIT - Lol, Brady miscounted the downs on the final drive, and thought it was 3rd down when he threw an incompletion on 4th down. Then just as he did in the Superbowl, he didn't go and acknowledge Foles.

Very difficult game to watch last night. Bucs up 13-0 early, and then they let the Bears score 2 TD right before half. Then both teams only score two field goals in the second half. Saints must be rejoicing.

Bears might actually finish better than 8-8 this year. XD

What are your views on Brady's repeat of a lack of sportsmanship?

I kinda like it just because you've never really seen it from him before. He didn't care for Peyton, but he respected him. He doesn't care for Foles, and he doesn't respect him one little bit. XD

He's a sore loser. He still can't come to terms with how Foles beat him in a SB, let alone doing it again with a different team. But it wasn't like Brady passed for 500 yards and Foles 150 in both games. Foles played very well in the SB, and was decent yesterday. No class from the supposed GOAT.

It's competitive sports, Matt. I don't mind seeing some players absolutely hate other players. In the simplest of terms, you're asking grown men to run as fast and as hard at other grown men. Not everyone is going to be friends afterwards.

I actually kind of like seeing it in modern day. You think everyone in the 70s and 80s, when the hitting was so much harder, were friends outside of those on the same team? You think anyone was shaking the hands of the 70s Raiders? I don't think so.

I like Brady's competitiveness but sometimes he can come off a bit whiny and he tends to very visibly blame his teammates on the sideline regardless of the situation.

Nobody comes close to Rodgers in those regards, Mike.

Warrior - The two QBs shaking hands after the game happens on almost all occasions. Brady shakes hands with the opposition QB almost every time after the game. Singling out Foles is just childish. I could understand if Brady ignored most QBs, but he shook hands with everyone in weeks 1-4. Foles has won a SB and is a SB MVP. He is a clutch QB. He deserves respect.

To me, Tom Brady and Serena Williams are comparable. You're probably in a state of shock, but hear me out. Both are arguably the GOAT in their respective sport, but both have a habit of showing an awful personality, and lack of respect towards certain players. It wouldn't hurt both players to show a bit more class.
