I've ordered Fire Red (coming between wednesday and friday) and will get the United Kingdom Emerald when it's released. Also plan to get action replay as no-one I know plays anymore so I need this to get every pokemon by myself!

don't ask me why but i think the GB color pokemon version pokemon are more stronger then the GBA pokemon version game pokemon it's just somthing about their stats that are diffrent its like there more weakend then the PKMN of GBC pokemon versions.i would love to trade my r/b/y and g/s/c pokemon over to firered because they are better then the ones in the updated versions and alot of the pokemon in the R/S versions.the mewtwo i have in crystal version blows the one away from the FR/LG series.

for your rayquaza you should chose dragon claw even thought outrage is a little bit more powerful it will confuse your pokemon in 2-5 turns and its only 10% more powerful not that much of a diffrence at all.PS: i give your team a 9/10

Thanks for the info and the rating. Are you a reasonably critical team reviewer? I'm just a little weirded out by being let off so easy compared to others who have posted teams to be rated! What usually happens is these people put in dozens upon dozens of hours building teams only for people to say they're rubbish! I guess I just need to wait a little longer for the onslaught to come...

people have their styles on chosing pokemon and stratgies and what they think feels comfortable for them so i try not to be that judgemental about that. you like what you like don't let people put you down.

Thanks for the advice vageto. I've always felt that even though it's just crappy computer code that you should still let yourself feel loyalty to a pokemon! Case in point: Mew. If you are determined enough you can make him beat very unlikely foes.
And I know how you feel dark_epseon!
Could I ask while I'm getting replies: On Pokemon collosseum, can all 386 pokemon be used or do they not have 3D models for all of them? Also, does it have a replayable gym leader castle style aspect to it?

wow, you can get rid of one electric attack (bolt or wave) for... erm... i dunno any other move learned naturali by raichu... thunder wave maybe? or agility, i dunno~ -_-" i think raichu's are so useless these days T-T

ah crap erm 5/10, normal and nothing special, but very glad to see people using regular pokemon teams rather than relying on ledgedaries' monsterous stats (they suk~ anyway~ too hard to make them useful) p.s. nice team XD

Zapdos- don't bother with drill peck. It's physical attack is TOO low to do any good damage with. Go for susbstitue, agility, thunderbolt, and hidden power(if its a special type, otherwise, go for drill peck, but you have a good chance of having a special type)

Nidoking- Nidoking has nearly NO special attack, take off surf and shockwave. Give it earthquake, megahorn,sludgebomb, and aerial ace.

Alakazam- NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER give a pokemon two attacks of the same type(NO FUTURE SIGHT AND PSYCHIC!!!). Give alakzam calm mind, psychic, thunderpunch(through breeding, or wait till emerald comes out for the move tutors), and fire punch.

Machamp- machamp sucks, it has low defenses, and low speed, one hit from a powerful super effective hit, youre scrwed. replace it with aerodactyl. then give the aerodactyl aerial ace, double edge(make sure it has the rock head ability), earthquake, and brick break.

Charizard- this can be used EXPLOSIVELY. Go for sunny day, flamethrower(or any poweful fire attack), dragon claw, and substitute. Make sure its holding a Petaya berry, with a FULL speed.
1. Use Sunny Day. 2. Use substitute. 3. Use flamethrower. You attack is madly powerful. When your health gets lower(to red) you petaya berry will make you special attack much higher, and your ability blaze will kick in, making flaemthrower powered up three times. (sun, same type, and blaze).

Charizard- remember the combo that i've repeated millions of times. give it that.

Lapras- thunderbolt,surf,icebeam,psychic(or recover)
