Honestly, I would do that deal right here and if I were Eagles. However, I would also want Fields with the #1 Pick. That way, you could have Fields for another two or three years on his rookie deal and use those three picks to replenish the weaknesses left after free agency. Basically could then get Anderson at #1, Bijan Robinson or Skoronski at #10, and then Bradberrys replacement at #30.

Of course, never gonna happen. But this is the winning formula these days.

Sounds like the three of us are thinking along the same lines. You have more of a chance of winning the Super Bowl these days with a top college quarterback in his third or fourth year in the NFL surrounded with elite weapons than a 50 million pound veteran quarterback in a weak team.

I'm hoping Washington go with Howell at quarterback and pay Payne and a couple of the other stars whose contracts are up for renewal. I'll be upset if Washington go down the same old route and bring in a veteran. I just have an awful feeling Derek Carr will be going to the capital.

Rogers in Miami would make the Dolphins instant Super Bowl contenders, in fact I'd pick them over the Chiefs and Bills. The thing is though, the organization would get more credit if they accomplished the feat with Tua.

Is Tua coming back, plenty of people want to see him retire before something bad happens to him.

Tua is coming back, but everyone knows that another concussion or two will be the end of his career. Hence why I think Rodgers would have to be in play for them.

It's a shame Tua's concussions are so high profile because everyone knows just about every player has had the same amount if not more from playing junior levels through the NFL and there's not a peep about it. He needs to learn how to protect his head when he falls instead of slamming it into the ground, which I've heard he's working on.

I have also read that they are working on redesigning QB helmets to have more padding in the back, decreasing the odds for concussions on those fling back sacks.

I have an authentic Riddell Washington Redskins helmet from the early 90s. I'm not convinced it would stop a concussion to the head. All its good for to be honest is looking good in a plastic see-through display box on a shelf in my room.

Have you guys got any helmets of your favorite college and pro teams?

Aside from two framed John Riggins photos the only other thing I have that is football related in my room is a 1982 Super Bowl pennent in a display case on the wall. Just so happens to be the year I started following the NFL.

No helmets, but I think I've got a pennant from my high school and college somewhere. My high school is a bit of a local powerhouse, but my college is Division III so you won't see them anywhere near TV screens or draft boards.

I don't have a ton of sports memorabilia in general. I've got a Ryan Howard decorative baseball from a Phillies game I went to in 2007, since he won MVP in 2006. That's about it though. Some blankets and clothes, and I've got a binder of hockey cards, and less for other sports, from a long time ago. But that's about it. I'm not much of a collector.

Personally, I only own a Zach Thomas Jersey. I also have a few pennants hanging up in my bedroom of my favorite sport teams, but those are pretty cheap these days.

For fathers day last year, I bought my dad this lot of ten signed baseballs with COAs. Had Reggie Jackson, Pete Rose, Ricky Henderson, and Nolan Ryan (among others). Put them in this case I found on amazon that is in the shape of home base.

Oh, my brother has a Falcons mini helmet signed by Julio Jones. We won it a while back at some fun center.

Commanders have released Wentz. Waste of draft picks.

Oh, forgot to mention I've got a Big Ben jersey but it's a kids and doesn't fit. Also have a generic Steelers "jersey" with no name on it my college roommate got me one year.

I saw about Wentz. Sucks, but it saved them a huge amount of cap space and he wasn't going to play and has no trade value.

Looks like Washington is using that money they saved on Wentz to bring back Payne. They tagged him last night but are still looking to sign to a longterm deal.

Marcus Mariota has been cut by the Falcons. Definitely not the answer at starter anywhere, but maybe a decent Teddy Bridgewater type for a year?

That can get overlooked quick for a team looking for a cheap backup. Who knows though. I can't really keep up with whether or not backups are any good. At a certain point I'm just going off name recognition lol.

Getting Daron Payne back in Washington was the main priority. I bet Chase Young is getting nervous now, Washington haven't picked up his fifth year option yet. I have a feeling if he doesn't perform up to expectations this year the team will keep Sweat and trade Young. Washington needs more out of Young than just being a cheerleader on the sidelines.

Yes, annoying about the wasted draft picks used to get Wentz. I'm happy about the money saved though, I want to see how they now spend it.

Top DT Prospect Jalen Carter had warrants for his arrest issued today stemming from a racing incident last month that resulted in two deaths within the other vehicle.

Safe to say his draft stock will fall?

The NFLPA released these report cards made of player surveys grading their team's facilities and staff. Unsurprisingly Washington is near the bottom. But I was a little surprised to see Miami graded so highly and disappointed to see Pittsburgh so low. The stadium is getting a bit older but I would've hoped a "tier 1" organization like Pittsburgh would have top of the line facilities.

Nice that Miami has good facilities. Hopefully it helps brings/keeps good players.

Then again, no state tax will properly continue to be the overriding factor. lol
