Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Story: An Untold Tale

*While standing at the guild's entrance, Derek notices a female Gabite just now walking out of a small room off to the side. She seems a bit nervous, looking down at the ground and holding her books close to her chest. Just as Derek's about to look away, he notices her trip over someone's tail and fall, causing her books to slide all over the ground. One of the books ends up at Derek's foot, lightly bumping into it. Seeing this as an opportunity to help someone, Derek grabs the book and walks over to the Gabite, helping her pick everything up*
Derek-" You alright? Looks like you took a bit of a fall back there."
*She doesn't even look up at him as she's far too shy to look anyone directly in the eyes. She simply takes her book from his hand without another word. Glancing back at the room she came out of, he notices that it's a classroom for people wanting to specialize in the medical field before joining a team*
Derek-" You're on a medical team?"
Gabite-" No... not yet. I still haven't been accepted by anyone... I haven't learned enough yet to be of any help..."
Derek-" Well, maybe you could help me. I'm getting ready to be on a team... what's your name?"
Gabite-" It's Laura... sir."

Name: Laura
Gender: Female
Pokemon: Gabite
Age: 16
Other: None
Bio: A Gabite training to work as a medical member of a team one day. She's incredibly shy and wants to avoid everyone around her if at all possible. She's only been at the guild learning for a few weeks.

*Destiny looks over at the Blaziken and Gabite after hearing the books drop. She listens to their conversation and looks up at the sky wishing she was as sure as the Blaziken that she was going to get in the guild.*

Derek-" Come on Laura, lets go get you started on a team. I actually had someone in mind that I would like to be on a team with, you can come and meet her."
*Taking some of Laura's books off of her hands and then grabbing her claw, Derek slowly leads Laura over to Destiny. Laura seems happy that someone actually wants to talk and interact with her, but keeps that small smile to herself. As both of them walk, she continues to look down at the ground, avoiding eye contact with everyone in the room, even Derek*

*Destiny snaps out of her train of thought and looks at the two. She nods to the Blaziken.*

Hello again. *Looks at the Gabite.* Hi Are you okay? I saw you trip.

*She realizes she never told the Blaziken her name.*

Oh by the way I'm Destiny and you guys are?

Derek-" Oh yeah, I'm Derek, and this is Laura. I think she should be okay, she is a dragon, after all."
*As Derek passes by Destiny, it can be clear to see by all that Laura's knee is bleeding a little from the impact. Either she doesn't notice it, or she's trying to to make a scene and treat her wound. Standing by the exit of the guild, Derek looks up at the sky, feeling good about his chances of getting into the guild. Laura only gives a small wave at Destiny, still not looking up as she has her claws crossed by her belly*

Its nice to meet you both.

*Destiny notices the wound.*

She may be a dragon but she still is hurt.

*Digging through her bag Destiny pulls out some bandges. She also pulls out a bottle of water to clean the wound with and walks over to Laura.*

Here let me bandge your knee for you.

*Laura, not wanting to make a scene, quietly walks over to a bench and sits down. She only nods at Lilly as a sign for her to go ahead and do what she needs to. Turning back to face them, Derek notices Laura's cut knee and looks down at his hands, noticing a little of Laura's blood on himself*
Derek-" Oh... well that's not nice."

*Destiny starts cleaning the wound being as gentle as she can. After doing her best to clean it Destiny bandges Laura's knee and puts what left of the bandages back in her bag.*

There that should do it.

*She glances at Derek.*

By the way what did you two want to talk to me about?

Derek-" Well, here's how I see it..."
*He takes a seat on the bench right beside Laura and pats her leg, trying to be as nice to her as possible to get her to trust him*
Derek-" All three of us are wanting to get into a rescue team, right? I just want to get away from that dingy forest, you want to do some good, I'm guessing, and Laura over here wants to be a medical specialist out in the field. I can't see a better group for us to be in. If we can do that C rank mission that the Grovyle had for us, we could probably all get in a room together. What do you think?"

*Destiny sits down and smiles her green eyes lighting up.*

I really like the idea a lot. I would love to be on a team with both of you. So, if we do get in what would our team name be? I have a few name ideas if you haven't thought of any. *Its easy to tell Destiny is starting to get her hopes up.*

Derek-" I never really planned on even getting into the place before, so I never put any thought into a team name. Feel free to tell us yours if you want to, maybe we'll go with one of them."
*Derek's eyes widen in shock as Laura suddenly reaches out and hugs both of them tightly. Though she doesn't say much to them, it's easy to tell she's extremely happy about the thought of not only being wanted, but wanted on a rescue team with others. She holds on for a few seconds before letting go and crossing her claws in her lap once again, her cheeks turning a bit red from embarrassment.*
Derek-" If that's your way of telling us you're happy, then okay?"

((Well gee, THANKS for completely ignoring my posts...you guys are the best. Not.))

*Destiny smiles and then looks at both of them.*

Well the list of team names isn't to long and may not be very good. It'll be best if I write them down for you.

*She looks around and finds a stick and begains to write names she has thought of on the ground.*

2.Team Blazing Dragon
3.Team Lunar Flame
4.Team Blazing Star
5.Team Lightning

*She gets done writing and looks at Derek and Laura.*

I know their not the best names, but it might give you two an idea if you don't like these.

Derek-" Personally, I like the Lunar Flame one. The only name I can throw in there is team Elements... but yours is much better. You're really a creative person."
*Laura just nods in agreement and keeps looking down at the names Destiny had written in the ground. The smile is still visible on her face as the redness in her cheeks slowly begins to fade. Derek playfully flicks Destiny's ear as he thinks about the new team that they could make up if they pass their test*

Thanks, I've often thought about names for a team but never thought they were to good. Now we just have to get in the guild and before that we have the test mission to do. *Destiny looks up at the sky and thinks.*

Things are looking up. I've already made two friends and it seems I have a better chance of joining the guild now.

From his spot lazing at the benches, Taron looked over and saw Tycho the well known Feraligatr doing his best to look imposing. Taron noticed how everyone ignoring him was slowly infuriating Tycho and it looked as though he would snap at any moment. A cruel grin spread across Taron's face as his mind raced with ways he could swindle some valubles and probably most definately get himself inaugorated into the guild.

"Hey Tycho, wait up!"

*Tycho, hearing the Sneasel who was with Blade earlier, was glad that finally someone was paying attention to him, 'bout time. He turned to where the Sneasel was coming from.*

"Yes?" Tycho said, trying to make his voice sound intimidating.

Blade strolled out, holding the envelop. He opened it an peered inside, just to check the location and the mission, before stuffing it back in.

"Okay, recruits, form up!" Blade called. He walked over to the bench where the Blaziken and the Ninetales were sitting. "Now, we have a standard..." Blade stopped. "Oh, I remember you." He said, pointing at Laura. "You've been hanging around the base for a while now. You wanted to be a medic, right? Kind of ironic, given the mission we have."

*Hearing the word 'Medic', Laura looks away from the names written in the dirt and glances over at Blade, smiling a little as her cheeks once again light up. She gives Blade a small nod as Derek chuckles a little, patting Laura on the back. He leans over her lap so that she can see his face and, more importantly, his smile at her*
Derek-" You don't have to be afraid to talk you know. Blade over here is trying to help us all, he's not going to bite your claw off or anything."
Laura-" Sorry... Just a quiet person..."

Taron stared up at the Feraligatr with a Blank look on his face. One on one, in a fair fight, Taron knew that Tycho would easily destroy him. Fair being straight attacks. Taron never played fair.

A small smile appeared on Taron's face as his mind raced with the possibilities of what could happen if he did this right. "Names Taron," He said as he stared up into Tycho's eyes. "Truth be told, I don't want your friendship, I merely feel that we could form a coherent Mutual Benefitting Relationship; an Alligiance if you will. State what you want and I might be able to 'stumble upon' whatever you want."

He watched the Feraligatr's reaction to this.

"In return I feel that it will be within my best interests to be a part of this guild, and the backings of well respected members is greatly apreciated."
