Took about a year and a half. Can't say I eat healthy really, mostly cutting back how much I eat and cutting some stuff out, like I don't drink soda really at all and don't grab chips or something for snacks.
Well thank you! I'm moving around a lot and lifting stuff at work so that helps a bit.

Good job.. yeah I think thats the way you do it. It you are thirsty you need water. Not water with sugar in it.

Coffee and water is mostly what I drink during the week. Alcohol I allow for the weekends, but not nearly as much as I used to drink.

You lost all that weight in one and a half years, that's amazing. Has it left stretch marks? Normally when you lose weight that quick it leaves white stretch marks on your body unless of course you used creams to prevent it from happening when you started your weight losing program.

IMO stretch marks are just visual marks. It doesn't feel sore or anything

I think they're pretty neat. I see it as a sign of accomplishment. And as you say, you can't feel them, they're just marks.

Wish I could have grown more. Doc said I'd grow to be 6'5", yet here I am only 5'10".
I need to get myself motivated to work out more too. Want to get rid of my gut that's still around, tighten up some lose skin, just hard to get myself to do much after work.

Did my half marathon today, really tough. Not just saying that because it was my first, there were a lot of hills in it. Friend of mine that has done quite a few said it was one of the toughest she has done so I am really pleased to finish it ok. Going to have a few aches for a few days though.

Thanks. I found the half really hard so I am not thinking about anything longer at the moment. But I will try to do another half again next year and see how I do after that. Have you run one?

Why wait until next year? The more marathons you do the easier they will become, give yourself the goal of entering a full marathon next year and use the half marathons as part of your build up to it. Well done on completing the half marathon.

One of my friends rides 13 miles (half marathon distance) every second morning and I think that sounds tough. Could not imagine what it would be like running it.
