Roleplay: The legend of Uraan: Final Summoning and hope.

Merrick slashed at a Vergal's neck and watched as it's body fell to the ground with a thud, the head shortly following.
"We haven't got time for this!" Merrick shouted.

The five warriors entered the marble city. Already it's buildings were burning as the Vergal army slaid the innocent.
"We don't have time to save any of them. We have to get across to the other side of the city. I only hope the tunnel hasn't been found."
A legion of Vergals that seemed to be searching the city streets approached them, roaring in glee at the chaos that surrounded them.
"Don't let any of them survive. They can't let their allies know where we're headed."

"Sure.." Merrick said, before stabbing several Vergals.
"Alright." Serenity exclaimed. She hit a couple on the back of the head, instantly killing them.
"See Merrick! You can kill something without them bleeding." Serenity shouted.

Blaze looked at the vergals and grinned."You won't leave here alive" he said, as he got in amongst them and hit two of them in the back of the head, killing them.

Bermegan began to hack at the Vergals in front of him.
"Not too many left now. Keep at it." He said, punching a Vergal in the face.

"Time to burn vergals" Blaze said, he ponited his hands left and right and began to focus.Then his hands lit up and balls of fire shot from them, burning the vergals."Now its your turn" he said, pointing to three vergals who didn't get hit.

Merrick twirled his sword around his wrist, effortlessly. Then began making a sidewys figure of eight. A Whirlwind formed behind him, he jumped behind it and slashed horizontally. This sent the Whirlwind hurtling towards the group of Vergals. The Vergals were sucked into it, and when the Whirlwind disappeared the Vergals were no where to be seen.

Bermegan continued walking along a now empty pathway stained with Vergal blood.
"Don't think that we're done. There's most definelty more around here somewhere."
As he paced along, he noticed a small alleyway to his right.
"This will skip a lot of the journey." He said to the group. "And we may be able to get there unseen this way."

"Great thinking..." Serenity muttered,
"Stupid Vergal blood, staining my blade..." Merrick mused, running a finger up his blade.

Bermegan continued through the narrow alley, constantly looking forwards and backwards for any sign of enemy forces. Suddenly, the high pitched scream of a Vergal pierced the air.
"Where did that come from?" Bermegan shouted aloud, searching his surroundings. From around a corner, a little child came running straight into Bermegan's arms.
"Are you a city defender?" The little child whimpered quietly.
"Yes, I am. All of us here are working to save the city. Now tell me, what have you seen?"
"The roofs, they're on the roofs searching for survivors. Please help me."
Bermegan sighed and placed his hand on the child's shoulder.
"You can come with us until we reach the city outskirts. Then we must let you go." He turned around to the others behind him. "Keep the kid safe, and watch out above. They�re up there, somewhere."

"Whatever.." Merrick sighed. Serenity looked at the small child,
"You'll be safe now.." she said, smiling.

"I'm glad to see you two are getting along. Could you look after him Serenity, just until we get out of the city?" Bermegan asked as kindly as he could. "And Merrick, seeing as you don't want to help the child, it would be a good idea if you came up front with me and kept an eye out for Vergals."

"Finally. A bit of action.." Merrick muttered, walking to the front.
"Sure!" Serenity replied to Bermegan.

Bermegan crept along, trying not to make any sound.
"Try to be quiet everyone. I would rather reach the tunnel unscathed than have to fight my way out."
Suddenly, the little child began to scream, pointing upwards.
"They've seen us." Bermegan shouted aloud. "Get your weapons ready and run. There's too many of them." He said, rushing as fast as he could through the alley. Vergals were pouring of the roofs and jumping down to them. "Keep the child safe too. We've let too many die today."

Serenity sheilded the child as they ran, she'd rather be killed than the child be killed. Merrick on the other hand, was killing as many Vergals as he could.

"It's practically raining Vergals." Bermegan muttered, silenced by the war screams of his enemies. Ahead, he saw the end of the alley. "You can expect them to be waiting for us in the streets. Looks like it's going to be a difficult fight."

Blaze ran as fast as he could, dodging the oncoming vergals."We have to get out now" he thought.He looked up and saw a vergal falling straight at him."Great" he said as he narrowly dodged it.

Bermegan burst out of the alley into a large circle plaza, it's white marble allowing him to see the dark figures surrounding them.
"Great. We do have to fight our way out." He stumbled backwards, closer to the group behind him. "Stick together everyone. If we get seperated we'll be slaughtered."
The Vergals around them began to close in on them, brandishng their razor sharp claws.
"Now we need to get over to the other side. Let's keep fighting straight ahead. There is no other way."

"I wouldn't want it any other way..." Merrick smirked, pointing his blade towards a Vergal.
"What shall we do about the child?" Serenity asked Bermegan, putting her arm infront of the child, protecting it.

"Keep it safe. I'm making it your responsability to look after him during this fight." Bermegan ordered, turning to Merrick. "I can see you're ready, though I never saw your skill in battle before. Show me now."
