Watson can't help them. They are absolutely horrible. They need to pray for Wentz to play enough to get the Colts 1st Rounder and roll with those three Picks.

Philly didn't really play any starters yesterday, either. And then Pats backups played Philly third stringers. Definitely not a good sign though.

They were still so bad. I bet they finish with a Top 5 pick easily, unless Hurts can provide some spark.

Looks like Washington are going to have a quarterback controversy. Taylor Hieneke is clearly better than Fitzpatrick, it was evident watching the Cincinnati game, the guy connected with 11 of 13 passes while Fitzpatrick could only manage just over half of his. Undrafted free agent Jaret Patterson is looking like the real deal and other NFL teams will regret ignoring him for his lack of hieght and slow 4.53 40 speed The guy knows how to get yards on the ground.

I have to think Fitz will be the starter. Hieneke has been going up against backups; he should look good.

Trubisky Bills crushing Dalton Bears. Still don't think the Bills are close to Chiefs, but I will give that their pass rush is vastly improved. Rousseau and Bashem to go along with Epenesa and Oliver (along with their other veterans) is going to rough for opposing teams that don't have a good O-Line.

Philly's in a weird spot. I can see them having anywhere from 4 to 8 or 9 wins depending on how Hurts and the rest of the division plays. The Cowboys without Dak would be bad too, and who knows what Danny Dimes will do any given week.

The Bills are good. I think Allen might regress a bit this year, and they might slightly regret the 40M they're gonna be paying him every year, but not as much as the Ravens and Browns are going to regret it. Trubisky is probably the best backup in the league too if anything happens to Allen.

Yeah, I would've waited a year before giving Allen that big contract (similar to what the Browns are doing with Baker). Allen had like a 58% completion rate for his first two years, and then he shot up to close to 70% last year. I doubt he is going to replicate those numbers, especially now that teams will be game planning him all the harder after an offseason of watching more tape.

I'm expecting the Bills to be Super Bowl contenders this year. I still think the Chiefs are the team to beat. I think Josh Allen will develop into one of the best quarterbacks ever. Herbert I also feel is cut above the other young quarterbacks. If Cleveland don't do well I wouldn't be surprised if they shop Baker Mayfield rather than pay him a multi year expensive deal.

I have the Chiefs as a clear favorite, with the Bills and Browns being neck and neck with each other behind them. I have the Colts at #4 in the AFC; I would have them higher if the Wentz factor was more consistent.

Same for me, I just can't put the Colts up there with that hole at QB.

Lot of QBs looking real good right now. Zach Wilson, Tua, Fields, even Trubisky and Big Ben looking good. Ben looked really good compared to last year, more mobile and confident. Seems like his knee is healed up, and losing the weight has definitely helped. Hopefully the new OC doesn't have him throwing 60 times a game.

He had two TDs to our new rookie TE Pat Freiermuth, who I really hope can be something like Heath Miller was for all those years, a really good red zone/pass catching threat and serviceable blocker. A team thrives with a dependable tight end. Really promising so far.

Najee Harris also extended a 5 yard dumpoff into a 50 yard gain. I'm really excited to see him play in the regular season.

Why does everyone rate Cleveland so highly? They fail to live up to expectations every year despite having one of the best teams on paper. They are the AFC's Dallas Cowboys. I'm reading reports that claim Prescott will break the most yards passing in a season record with Cooper, Lamb, and Gallup to throw to. I can't see that happening myself.

Cleveland will flop like always.

If a team trades for Watson and gives away picks, they better hope they have enough talent. Otherwise he'll just be a good QB in a bad team, who have 0 good picks.

Dennis: Great roster. If Baker has a similar above average year like last season, they should win 10-12 games.

Matt: I can't see anyone trading for him right now. Maybe the Cowboys, but if and only if Dak's shoulder is worse than what is being said. But I heard he is set to start the season opener, so that kills that.

Mike: I know it is just preseason, but these last two QB Classes could turn out to be some of the best ever. Burrow looked good before his injury, Tua seems far improved, Herbert had the best rookie year ever for a QB, Love looked good in his one and only game before injury, Lawrence is a prodigy, Wilson has looked sharp, Lance showed his potential, Fields has looked good, and Jones fits quite well in the system he is in.

Evan Jalen Hurts looked decent in some games last year surrounded by that trash roster. And we don't even really know about Jordan Love.

I don't know if Hurts will develop; he has the most limitations if you throw his name in with the others. He also has to play for Philly, which has been a bit of a dumpster fire lately.

Let's see what happens when those quarterbacks face the starting defensive lineman in live games that mean something. Pre-season games to me are just a warm up to try out potential players and plays, no real pressure if you are a guaranteed starter on the team.

I think Chase, the Bengals rookie wide reciever is going to be a bust. He dropped three passes against Washington and looked terrified all game.

I think Miami might have gotten the best WR with Waddle. Dude is electric.

Chase has had some drops, as you mentioned, and Smith is still way thin with the Eagles.

Hard to judge off 3 passes. Guy was probably just nervous. And one of the drops was over the middle where he could've gotten lit up.
