They also signed John Ross and Rudolph. Big potential if everyone plays up to par, specifically Jones. Wondering if they will still go WR in the 1st or Edge Rusher now.

The Giants are still coming in third place in the NFC East behind Washington and Dallas. I may have a little flutter on Washington, I think they will win the NFC East and I don?t see any teams blowing them out with that defense. Now with a veteran quarterback and decent fast players in all the skill positions the may be the surprise teams the NFL. Tampa on paper look like the team to beat and Washington were competitive against them when the defense had a bad day.

A lot of big names still out there, but the money has dried up for the most part. Most of the players remaining will probably have to take one year deals.

I?m hearing that in a couple of years time the cap will be significantly increased and it will make Mahomes current deal look like a bargain, something to do with a new broadcasting deal which will bring in a ton of money.

Is Matt still doing his work experience, I haven?t seen him here this week?

It will jump next year. Everyone saw that coming after the down year due to covid.

The cap will jump a bit next year and massive in 2023 when the new broadcast deal kicks in.

And up and up from there. This is why an player left would be wise to sign a one or two year deal.

Yeah, thats why JuJu took a 1 year deal, he'll cash in next year on a big extension and the Steelers will have cap room.

Yeah. They never make big moves in free agency but next year should be a big one. Some former GM called the steelers the "FA Losers" for this year, and I don't really get it. They knew they were losing Dupree and they would have to choose between Sutton and Hilton. They brought Ben back cheap and signed JuJu on a nice deal when everyone was ready to lose him. Not sure what else they were supposed to do.

That is hilarious considering a handful of teams did not make even one signing and just cut players to make the cap.

Dallas fans are not happy, Jerry Jones has done nothing apart from give all the money to Dak Prescott. Not seeing many new faces for the Cowboys. If they don't sort that defense out they are going to be toast against Washington.

They did sign safety Keanu Neal. Great move if he can stay healthy. Unfortunately, up until now, he has not been able to do so.

Dallas really didn't have many options. Not signing Dak wasn't really an option. The only thing they could've done was franchise tag him and trade him, and you're not going to get a great haul for a guy on an expensive 1 year rental coming off an injury. Or try and trade up to take a top QB in the draft. They have a lot of money wrapped up in RB, WR, and the offensive line.

I know they are "America's Team" and have expectations but they are going to be just mediocre until some of these contracts expire and they have some strong drafts.

Dallas are in trouble, they were 1-3 with Dak Prescott starting, he?s just an average expensive quarterback in my opinion, on par with Cousins and Goff. Dallas will be in lots of high scoring shootouts until they sort out that defense.

Don't worry, Dennis. I have a feeling the Cowboys will be picking mainly defensive players in the draft. They might draft an OL or two, but that's all their offense needs as it is still loaded.

I personally think the Cowboys offense is over rated. Dak Prescott is average and Zeke Elliot has never been the same since he got his massive pay rise. Amari Cooper is a decent wide reciever and I have not seen enough of CD Lamb to make judgement.

I still think Washington will beat them twice this season. The player doing most of the damage will be Antonio Gibson.

Not looking good for DeShaun Watson, the count is now up to 19. He only has himself to blame, I'm sure the Texans have somebody who massages the team and even if they don't I'm sure the guy can afford to employ someone to be available at a moments notice.

If we want to be real REAL for a moment... Dude is a multimillionaire... If he wanted to hire a woman for THOSE services, why did he not just do that? Why the by force factor needed?
