Yeah, that is why you have to read what scouts say. I bet most players selected in the Top 100 have good tape, but it does not always translate to the Pros.
Yes we definitely should do the mock competition. I might only be able to do 2 mocks (one final one just before draft day, & one 1/2 months before), but I'm definitely interested. It will also be interesting to see our old mocks and see how the prospects went.

Tennessee choked, to lose 16-19. They were about to drive into Cincy territory with the scored tied at 16-16, when Tannehill threw an INT. This allowed Cincy to quickly get into FG range with not much time left. The Bungles are in the AFC Championship game!
Green Bay are struggling against SF at home. They lead 10-3, but that is very unconvincing.

Gutsy call taking the Bengals steelers01, I was going to take them until I read their offensive line was badly banged up and would be unable to protect Joe Burrow. It's amazing how two players (Burrow and Chase) can turn a franchise around.
Horrific choke by Green Bay. I thought they would choke next week, and Warrior was unconvinced that they would even make it that far. So we were both correct. SF;s offense and defense scored 0TDs, yet they won the game. Rodgers has surely played his last game for Green Bay. Still only 1 Superbowl appearance in his career despite Green Bay nearly always contending.
Meanwhile Miami essentially don't have a 1st round pick, given how late in the round it is.
San Francisco have done so well. In Week 17/18 New Orleans had 2 easy games to come, and SF had LA Rams in Week 18. SF had to beat Houston and LA Rams in order to even make playoffs. So they have essentially played 4 consecutive do-or-die games.
When was the last time both #1 seeds lost in the divisional round?

Yeah, stinks that the Niners have caught fire. If the Rams had defeated them, I think the Phins would have had like pick #19. Oh well, luckily O-Linemen usually are available late in the 1st. Or, if worst comes to worst, maybe the Phins trade back and collect a future 1st for a QB needy tram wanting the fifth year option.
Then again, if the Phins trade Xavien Howard, they can probably get another 1st. He has had 15 picks in the last two years, he should be worth that at the very least.
Nice game for the Bengals but man they really need Oline help. Burrow is getting murdered back there.
Nice win for SF but not exactly a convincing one. Scoring your only points on a blocked punt and game ending FG don't inspire a ton of confidence. Credit to the defense though, and the weather. I doubt it'll be like that in Tampa or LA.
Really doubt Brady hangs it up after a loss like that. Not when he was arguably the best QB in the league. The Bucs are going to be running into cap issues soon and if they lose some pieces I can see him being done. Like Rodgers, Brady doesn't want to play on a middling or rebuilding roster anymore.
I think they just need to make a few tweaks and salary adjustments. The loss of Wirfs was huge; the Rams abused that backup all day long. If Wirfs played, I think the Bucs would've have won as he would've prevented as much pressure and allowed Gronk to not have to constantly help with a chip block.
If the Bucs could somehow trade for a proven CB, that would be huge as they won't get much at the end of 1st. Xavien Howard would be huge for them, but they would have to move money around for him. They really just need a CB, a third WR, a RB, youth on the D-Line, and O-Line depth.
But I completely agree, Mike. He is just way too good too good to hang it up. If his wife is a good one, she would also be telling him this.
Pretty bad defensive play especially there at the end, you could tell both teams were just gassed. I wanted the Bills to win as I'm getting some Chiefs fatigue (even more with Romo commentating, we get it dude you love Mahomes) but I'm not too bothered. They should beat the Bengals rather easily but you never know. Feel bad for Josh Allen he played his heart out. And Gabriel Davis setting the playoff TD record is nice for him.
Yeah, you never know. I think I am rooting for the Chiefs in the AFC. Burrow has gotten a little smug lately, especially when their path has not been all that difficult. I have no clue with the NFC, Niners hot but Rams look tough if they can stop the turnovers.
Just noticed Dennis went with the Bills. I think that should pretty much eliminate him from 1st Place. Can still happen, but with two people ahead, it makes it difficult. Matt and I, naturally, continue to pick the same.
I like Burrow. The Bengals are such a poverty franchise and haven't had anything to be happy about in so long. Even that 5 year stretch from 2011-2015 where they made the playoffs every year none of those teams were really incredible. Now they're finally winning a couple and overachieving and we should probably just let them have it for now. I'm sure the Lions will be the same way when/if they turn it around.
Tampa Buy almost pulled off a 28-3. LA Rams lead 27-3 and choked to tie 27-27, but Stafford stepped up big time to avoid years of mental scars that Atlanta are still dealing with. So glad that team is out after their shameless buying of the league.
Buffalo also choked. Yes Mahomes made a good throw, but with 13 seconds your defense should NEVER allow a pass that big. And with Cincy as AFC Championship opponents, as well as the unconvincing Rams and 49ers on the other side, this was a massive missed opportunity for Buffalo to win their first ever SB.
Very interesting situation now. The games are Cincy @ Kansas City, and San Francisco @ LA Rams. But Cincy and SF have both beaten their upcoming opponents. SF also did it in a virtual playoff game 3 weeks ago. And Cincy's win was just 4 weeks ago, which knocked KC out of a 1st week bye.
Previous games:
Week 10 - San Francisco d LA Rams 31-10 at home Week 17 - Cincy d Kansas City 34-31 at home (trailed 21-31 in Q4) Week 18 - San Francisco d LA Rams 27-24 (OT) away from home

Imma say this: it is just as hard to defeat the Chiefs twice in the same year as it is defeating any other team three times in the same season. Bengals and Niners have to do the near impossible.
I am rooting for the Chiefs and the Niners, but I do not know if I can pick that combination. I have to mull it over.
