[[Wow, that was alot of posts, well just to let you all know, I wasn't trying to be a mean cruel person out of all my posts, and thanks for the understandings and I will one day take a look at net battle, maybe today.]]

I also think Dotaitose, that grass/ground dude is pretty strong, but he really has to watch out for Ice moves, since its 4x effective, and since his speed is harsh...he might just be a siting duck out there, but since I will have every starter with my AR, then Im sure I will use him, cuz I do feel like he has potential, if not, then I dont care lol XD I like how he looks (the last evo of the grass starter).

MY EDIT: was changing "was" to "wasnt", that was a true typo, I never try to be a mean and cruel person XD lol why wud I? but my personality makes me sounds cruel.

On 19-Feb-2007 Volke said:Chaos - If I don't stand a chance I'll take your word for it. Although I will battle you anyway. If you don't want to wait, then do as Fwank says and download Netbattle. I'll probably get it again to start getting used to competitive battling again anyway, since I haven't been on there for a long time (and there are some people here who I would like to battle). Look here though, I'm not having a go at you or anything, I have nothing against you in general, it's just my way of saying things.

Espeondude_ - Venusaur used to be the best starter back in the R/B/Y days, but now Charizard has stolen his spotlight. Just informing you that things weren't always this way. Blastoise never was any good though.

Penguin4.0 - Tha complicates things. I wish Nintendo and Game Freak employed more sensible people. They had to go and make everything so complicated didn't they..., thanks for the info though.

Fwank - I agree, I'm not really interested in the monkey, it's too similar to Blaziken for my liking, although I'm sure it will be a good pokmon, it's just that we've already been there. Although I suppose it wouldn't mind cooking me a nice baked banana covered in cinamon coating, with lots of syrup on top and ice cream on the side..., forget I said that. But yes, the other two are looking good to me.
Definitely, I want to battle you sometime. Anyway, just for the saying, Goukazaru is a Blaziken... only faster.

Yes I saw that indeed Goukazaru is a Blaziken, but he looks much more cooler to me. He has moves that Blaziken cannot learn.

I think all the last Evo's of the new starter pokemon are pretty cool they took their time developing them graphically.

That is why I will be having them all and sometimes putting one or all in my Wifi Battles. Maybe we can just have battle's using starter pokemon only.

I don't have a set team, only one pokemon you might see in abundance and that is Kyogre (Willy) He was my first Legendary Pokemon I ever caught and he is my favorite water pokemon.

volke - amen banana... i mean yeah the monkey, what you said, i'm not drooling

nyeem - well like i said, it isn't that bad, its just pretty darn hard to make it downright useful... i did like breeding it for coat, since it's only weaknesses were special... and it was a pretty tough thing to kill, but i like specialised stats better than rounded stats, since i enjoy switching around, i just find it easier for me and prefer it that way (besides, when breeding came out, blissey and skarm appeared)

ED - hey look, the chicken and the monkey can breed =D ... i'm not sure if pokemon is for kids anymore...

chaos - yah my posts were actuali alot more harsher before i edited, i usuali dun let ppl get away wit being cocky but w/e, if u NB u'll know i dun just talk crap, and even if u don't, wifi =]

mods - i'm on topic! i'm on topic! freaking land turtle is good for a freaking TSS team!!! that's amazing!!!!

Chaos - My 'attitude' overall tends to give people a negative impression of me. I just tend to act serious all the time and I've never once used the word 'lol' or anything (well NOW I have), so people get the impression that I'm stern, serious and in two cases arrogant (not that I actually am arrogant, of course). But anyway, I decided I'll be getting Nebattle back today. If you decide to download it, go on the Smogon server and look for (surprise, surprise) Volke. Although if you have ubers on your team, I won't battle you as I don't use them.

Espeondude_ - I'll gladly accept your challenge. When you're on the Smogon server next, look for Volke. Goukazaru has slightly lower atatcking stats to Blaziken, but he has the Speed which Blaziken really could have done with.

Fwank - Blastoise got Mirror Coat? I knew he got Counter, but are you serious about that?

he doesn't have counter man, counter came from mov... oh yeah if you count move tutors, geez, but almost all pokes learns counter

yeah, it came from corsola, and blastoise was always under attack by electric or grass attacks that made coating on toise popular

then you'd pull a minty rest and keep going =], and after that, rest and miltalk heals and u keep going =]

whole reason blastoise failed even after breeding came out was coz suicune rocked up: it learns mirrorcoat naturali, and was stronger in blastoise in all stats, same type, plus it could roar, which was a huge thing back then

=S blastoise could spin and protect but it was really useless without abilities and decent held items, and spikes weren't that common either

and NOWW suicune gets pressure while blastoise gets torrent, and suicune gets calm mind while blastoise gets

like

curse

lawl

i like the chubby thing, but i just find an easier time using cune, less effort

True. And even though Blastoise CAN Rapid Spin, Starmie does the job way better because Starmie can do so much more/

It learns Curse?!?!?!

Starmie may can do better, but he isn't a starter pokemon and Blastoise rocks for being a starter pokemon. He is one of the original three that started all of this.

He deserves mad respect.

LOL he DOESN'T learn curse does he? nor does feraligator zomfg hahaha, why is he so crap XD

aw gawd this is so embarassing, i can't even defend the chuky fat thing anymore, it's totali overshadowed by everything not called squirtle or wartortle, poor chubby blue thing

and nyeem78: that's the whole reason i didn't like blastoise, because everybody loved it more than venusaur even though it wasn't useful =(, and they'd say venusaur's worse just because blastoise could learn ice beam (venusaur's actually faster... surprise @_@! the dinosaur is faster than the turtle...)

Goukazaru really grabed my attention when I first saw it on serebii, and every since, I neverd really thought hard about starting with a diff. starter for 4th gen.

Now about respecting the original starters that started it all, that is deep, and cause of that, I respect Charizard, Blastoise, and Venasaur, although, Venasaur (I know Im spelling his name wrong, so sorry if I am) Venasaur is a pokemon that I rarely use, but he got respect because he was the first grass starter to start everything in history for grass starters and grass pokemon alone. *wipes tear from eye* What!?, Im not crying! XD

To be honest, I'm not sure what the strongest is. I think the monkey is though.

Venusaur was the best Grass type (bar Celebi) in the first two generations. He's now overshadowed by Sceptile. Sure Sceptile might be a little better, but Venusaur should still be used. Venusaur even used to be better than Charizard. Charizard takes the lead of the three now though. Blastoise has always been the worst of the three.
