What starter pokemon seems the strongest?

Well Chaos, I will trade Pokemon with you if you like. I am getting both versions and I gotta get me an Action Replay for the DS too. So you won't have to worry about trying to get your dex filled. It would be even more cool if you could trade eggs then you could get the eggs and they would be your own pokemon with your trainer stats. I am glad though that you are going with Fire Monkey, we will see who's rocks, hope you gonna be ready for the battle via WiFi.

I will be prepared, and as a heads up, Im naming my fire monkey, "Kaji" so get used to seeing that name, cuz ur gonna see it almost every time we battle :D

I hear yah, wow you already got a name for your fire monkey thats cool. I also got a name for mines as well its gonna be "Fuego" and your gonna see Fuego everytime is says "Kaji" fainted....lol ;)

And you know my fire monkey will be... trained to his limits, well I will try to train him to his limits, its gonna be hard like always though, but he will be the last fire monkey standing on the battlefield. :D

It depends who has the most ideal nature, movesets and EV spread. Although you can also get lucky with critical hits.

What does EV mean?

EV = Effort Values Blazin Torchic. They have a very big role in how well your pokemon is trained/raised. Check this out http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-rs/ev.shtml it will explain everything you need to know about Effort Values and how it affects your pokemon.

Me and you both, I do the Ev train, I select which characteristic benefits what pokemon I am using and I make sure I give them there stat boosters for extra effect. (ex. Zinc, Iron etc.)

I only give my pokemon protein zinc etc. after they are fully done EV trained, cuz if you use it before they are EV trained, u will reduce the amount of EV points you get, I believe thats wut Serebii told me, and it seems to hold true on that. :D

Thanks, I got a few that I will use and change to every week.

I have some side news coming to the news part of this pokemon diamond topic.

Kool on the News...Read up some more on EV training. I am studying which pokemon starter can reach its full potential as far as EV's go along with which nature is best for that specific pokemon.

I normally choose the normal nature, which is "Quiet" I think...
