I think that is a little too late for the Redskins. They are pretty much eliminated at this juncture, so whats the point. He is only on a one year contract, if I am not mistaken, making it further moot. Just keep losing a draft Willis or Corral, or make a play for Rodgers/Wilson/Watson after the season.

I heard Murray could miss a stretch of time with that injury he sustained on Thursday. Now that makes sense for Trubisky, especially with all those weapons.

I heard Murray's out 1-2 weeks. I've actually got no clue who their backup is.

Wow, Raiders WR Henry Ruggs has been involved in a DUI that caused a fatality. Awful. How dumb these guys have to be to have all that money and still drive drunk.

Whats worse is that it sounds like pretty much a done deal that he is guilty. I would have to imagine he will be going to jail for multiple years.

Trade deadline is an hour away, but the Phins have already announced they are sticking with Tua.

Watson is gonna remain a Texans until at least the offseason.

Just did mine as well. I've got 3 "underdogs by Yahoo's reckoning, but I don't see any of them as underdogs, and I'm going back and forth on another game. Pretty happy with how they stand so far, but I was happy with last week's picks too.

Still up by 1 in my other group despite him getting 4 back on me last week.

Some small overlooked news, the Rams have released Desean Jackson, who hasn't done much this year (8 rec, 221 yds, 1 td), but could still have some big play potential left in the tank. He'd be a nice pickup on the cheap for a WR-needy team but he's well beyond his days of being WR1.

Chiefs need him.

I was surprised the Rams did not get him more involved. 8 for 220 is crazy if you think about it.

Well, one of those 8 was a 75 yard touchdown. 7 for 146 is a lot more reasonable, about 21 yds/rec. Which would still be top in the league if he qualified but 8 receptions is really too small to count for much. He does historically have a high yds/Rec - he's actually the active career leader at 17.5. This year he's got Stafford throwing to him who is #2 in yds/attempt, which obviously helps.

Injuries and age have definitely slowed him but I think he can be a nice big play receiver for at least this year. The last two years he's barely played. I also completely forgot he ever played for Washington.

I hope that is a false rumour that Trubishky is being traded to Washington, that is not a step forward, the guy is a backup quarterback at best. Washington need to get the best quarterback available in the draft and try to develop him, they will not be winning many more games so will be able to do that.

Glad to hear the Dolphins are backing Tua, or at least giving him the rest of the season to prove himself.

Looks like riverboat Ron is on the hot seat, lots of talk of Washington sacking him. The guy screwed up not trading up for Fields in the draft. Fitzpatrick and Hienecke are both backups at best. Hienecke throws medicine balls, misses targets and wastes opportunities. I think Fitzpatrick will be gone at the end of the season anyway.

Shame about Ruggs, he was a good player, that will hurt the Raiders.

Yeah, there was no trade for Trubisky.

Everyone says X team messed up not trading up for Fields. IMO he hasn't been great or even good, it's not like he's some generational prospect. Maybe it's just a product of being on the Bears but I'm not seeing where any team is really hurting from not trading up to get Fields vs. drafting a QB in the next draft or going after one of the established guys. Fields isn't exactly lighting it up.

Holy crap, Rodgers tested positive for covid and is out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. Crazy. QB3 Benkert is out with covid as well. Jordan Love is the only active QB for the Packers.

Wise for the Redskins to pass on Trubisky. Made no sense since the Redskins are playing for a better draft picks.

Wise for the Phins to pass on Watson. Made no sense since you haven't given Tua even a whole season and the season is basically over unless the Phins can run the table (possible, but unlikely without three upsets).

Rodgers being out makes it interesting. Rookie QB (in every right) versus a horrible defense.

Makes that pick much more interesting for me.

Yep. The most surprising thing about that game was me learning that Josh Johnson is somehow still in the NFL. What the heck. I always get him confused with the Marlins pitcher of the same name who was pretty dang good when NFL Johnson was just entering the league.

Really sucks to see Mike White get hurt, but I feel like he's going to get passed around as a backup for a decade just from these 1.25 games alone.

Jets third string quarterback played well though. What's happened to Zach Wilson, have the Jets lack of protection got him injured already?

Yeah he hurt his knee in the Patriots game the other week. Strained PCL apparently, they're saying he'll be back next week or the week after.

Wison wants to get back quick, if that third string quarterback puts up any more 317 yard games with 3 touchdowns the Jets may take a closer look at him. The guy didn't even have a full game, the second string quarterback got 97 yards himself before he got injured so it makes you wonder what yardage the third string quarterback would have got with a complete game. Then again it may just be bad defense by the Colts secondary.

Raiders have already released Henry Ruggs, sounds like there is no question he is guilty and the team want to distance themselves before the trial.
