Outstanding picks this week Warrior13, I believe you are now in second place. What happened steelersrock01? This has to be the biggest points discrepancy since we started this competition 6-11, that's five games. I'm normally happy if I pull one game on the lead and delighted if I get two. Warrior13 must be feeling like a dog with two cocks after this week's results.

The most bizarre week of the season, tipping-wise. I thought my picks were high risk, but in reality it was that Warrior was even riskier. This is what happens when you're brave. Sometimes you get 6 wins, and sometimes you get 11. My Tennessee and Minnesota upset picks fell through. I was very surprised to see no one else take the Titans, even though they're injured/out of form. Warrior was a few plays away from being 13-1...

I say this almost every week. Poor Detroit. But, as much as I like Dan Campbell as a coach, Detroit have thrown away so many wins. They should've or could've beaten:
Baltimore - Lead 17-16 with 1 minute left after going for the 2XP instead of tying. Gave up the longest FG in NFL history.
Minnesota - Lead 17-16 with 1 minute left (again) and allowed Minnesota to go the length of the field
LA Rams - Lead 19-17 at 3QT before being outscored 0-11
Pittsburgh - Missed a game-winning FG
Cleveland - Lost by 3 to the mediocre Browns
Chicago - Lead 14-13 late in the game
If they had been better, they had potential to be 6-6 right now, and at least 5-7. Instead they're probably going to go winless in a season for the 2nd time

Horrible loss by Philly. Jalen Hurts was woeful, with 14/31 (45%) for 129 yards, 0TDs & 3INTs. Daniel Jones continues to be solid, but nothing more. It will be interesting to see what happens in the offseason. He clearly isn't capable of being a top 10 QB, but he hasn't done much wrong either.

Tennessee are frauds. When they were 8-2 they had played some really bad games, and I thought they were over it and had won ugly and were ready to play better. Meanwhile the dynasty continues.

Expected win for Atlanta. How could 2 people in our comp tip Jacksonville?!

Expected win for Tampa Buy, but I was sure there were gonna be people who would fall for the Indy trap. This game and the tips says a lot about our group.

I apologise, I forgot I even tipped NY Jets. Then when I remembered why it was because of Flacco, but they benched him! Also never rely on weak teams to back up an upset win.

LA Chargers are in a serious slump. I rate Herbert, but he has average games and gets zero criticism, yet Tua can have average games and be called a bust/the reason we lost. Herbert needs to cut his INTs.

Minnesota play another 1-score game... And frustratingly SF win another game. I think Miami have to concede the fact that's not going to be a top-15 pick.

LA Rams are in huge trouble. They went Superbowl or bust, and now they're going to be on the road all through the playoffs. Their model is so reckless, and they'll become one of the worst teams in the league in a few years.

Baltimore are also frauds. Almost losing to Cleveland... Anxious Also Cleveland...how the hell do you intercept a QB 4 times, concede just 16 points, and lose the game?!?! That sums up their season.

Yesterday was Miami's best performance since Week 16 of last season. The defensive performance reminded me of how well it was last season. 4 interceptions and 2 blocked punts is incredible. And the offense did pretty well. Tua had the best game of his career with 27/31 (87%) for 230 yards & 1TD, and is looking like a franchise QB (surprise surprise Tua haters). His career stats have been:
2020 - 186/290 (64%) for 202 yards per game, 11TDs, 5INTs, 1 lost fumble, & a 87.1 passer rating
2021 - 165/234 (71%) for 243 yards per game, 10TDs, 6INTs, 0 lost fumbles, & a 94.7 passer rating

We are now 5-7 after being 1-7, and have NY Giants and NY Jets at home. We have a huge chance at being 7-7. Then it gets difficult with New Orleans & Tennessee away, and a season finale at home vs New England. If we win out we may get playoffs, but a loss is the end. It's very frustrating, because we really should've beaten Las Vegas (Fuller dropped the game-winner in OT), Jacksonville (lead 13-3 vs a team who hadn't won in 20 games), & Atlanta (defense stunk the joint after offense scored 28).

I'm disappointed to see literally no praise for Flores and the Miami coaches. We have gone from being one of the worst defenses in the league to one of the best within 1 month, and we are playing with a lot of confidence. Yet Flores gets no praise from the people who were calling for him to be fired.

I was impressed with Miami, I think that's five straight wins now. Now that the talk of Deshaun Waston has ended all of a sudden the Dolphins are playing decent football. I don't think Watson will be going to Miami now, my money is on Carolina.

Matt, I went with Jacksonville after the pitiful performances I have seen from Atlanta recently. Calvin Ridley injured doesn't instill me with much confidence in them. I was beginning to think Trevor Lawrence was getting better but I'm not so sure now.

Big game tonight for Washington, win this and they are within two of the lead with Dallas and Philadelphia to play home and away. I fancy them to beat the Eagles twice and get a home win against the Cowboys. Dallas have some tough games coming up which Washington have already played.

Tennessee haven't been the same since Derrick Henry got injured, teams are no longer scared of them. Adrian Peterson got released.

Pretty spot-on, Matt. Just a really bad week for me. It's tough to pick when both teams seem equally mediocre.

It happens to everyone, Mike. My mom was leading in our family picks before this week, but she too experienced a setback. Luckily there are like six weeks still to go.

Yeah, just unlucky. Plenty of games left, and the playoffs.

Are we counting playoffs? Or just if there is a tie?

I cannot remember. It feels like it has been three months. XD

I'm pretty sure we went through the playoffs last year. Yahoo apparently has no stat tracking at all.

I honestly can't remember. Did we do 2 separate groups? Or just mark down who won the regular season?

I think we marked it down last year and went from there.

Man, Seattle is way bad this year. Eight punts tonight. Rough. Wilson gonna be running for the hills this offseason.

Washington hasn't done a great job capitalizing, but I guess they've done enough.

Lovely. Wahsington get the win and are in the hunt for a wild card. Just need to beat the Cowboys twice and the Eagles twice and then the Giants and that should do it. May even win the division if Dallas drop a couple more games. Also picked up a game on Warrior13 and Matt so happy about that as well.

Me too. A nice little consolation prize for the rough week. Washington clearly isn't a real contender but they can cause some trouble in the division. NFC East is a mess as usual.

Four losses by a combined 20 points. Not gonna get much closer to undefeated, but I will take any games I can make up.

The question now is can Washington hound Dak Prescott enough that he unravels and they get two wins of the Cowboys. Not sure if they can do that now without Chase Young and Montez Sweat on the edges to be honest. It's said that Washington has one of the best backup teams in the NFL, wer're about to find out if that is true.

I thought Rivera had lost the plot when he took two Defensive Ends in the 7th round of the 2021 draft (Shaka Toney and William Bradley-King). Looks like Rivera will have to change his name from Riverboat Ron to Mystic Ron as nobody could have predicted both Washington starters would get injured. I personally thought it was a couple of wasted picks, I look at it now as a stroke of genius.

The Giants are quietly improving as well, it's too late for them to do anything, but they have a say in who wins the NFC East as teams in that division still have to play them.

Any more rumors of Deshaun Watson going to Miami or has Tua's recent performances quietened his critics. I have heard nothing. I feel happy for Tua, he deserves a chance.

If the season were to end today Washington would have a Wild Card spot.

A couple of tough games I'm struggling with. Dallas and Washington mainly. I like to think Washington will beat the Raiders but deep down I know it is unlikely. As for the Cowboys, what team is going to turn up against the Saints? The team that gives up 500 yards or the one that scores 5 Touchdowns.

Same here, but you also have to ask which Saints team will show up.

Hill will be playing at QB. I don't know if that helps or hurt. Both teams need that one.
