Taysom Hill is a meme QB to me. Especially if he's really dealing with a plantar fascia issue. I'm kinda shocked they gave him that contract.

Oh great, Dallas are taking on a team with a quarterback who has a bad foot, that's made up my mind on that game. I thought it was Jameis Winston. Mica Parsons is going to be all over Taysom Hill.

Winston is done for the year. Torn ACL. Seems to be the most frequent injury these days.

At least an ACL isn't a death sentence for a career like it used to be.

Yeah, especially for a pocket QB. But it does seem to happen far more often nowadays for some reason.

It must be something to do with the artificial turf they use these days, I think I read somewhere that it has a bit of give to it, like a carpet that suddenly moves when you make a sudden move on it. Never heard of an ACL in the 80's when teams played on natural grass. ACL is what has sidelined Chase Young, he's out for the season, I doubt he will be the same when he comes back next year.

Do you fellas know of any players that have come back and resumed their career at a high level? The only one I can think of is Adrian Peterson but he lost that sudden cutback ability that made him deadly.

Tom Brady is the biggest. Gronk, Teddy Bridgewater is at least no worse than before. Willis McGahee tore his ACL in college and had a nice career. Phillip Rivers tore his ACL in 2007. Frank Gore tore his ACL twice in college and has obviously had a long career.

Not surprising, we split on tonight's game where both teams need the win.

Looks like the Cowboys are going to hang on to this one. Really close, four bad plays by the Saints could've changed the outcome. First a missed field goal, then a pick in the redzone after the WR failed to catch it, then a horrible blind side block call, then giving a huge TD run when the Safety had the angle but was scared of the cutback, then Hill taking a sack to get out of field goal range. Game of inches, game of inches.

Really tough game for Taysom Hill. Some bad calls, but he made a lot of bad throws. I really don't understand why they gave him that contract extension even at its lowest possible value of 4yrs/44M. He's clearly not an NFL QB and I don't think he excels enough at any other position or special teams to be worth that.

That Saints quarterback was terrible, threw bad passes all night. Saints should have kept the ball on the ground more, they were ripping Dallas apart with ball control. Washington have a good chance to beat Dallas like they did twice last year with Gibson doing the damage.

I am actually surprised Hill did as well as he did, especially considering he had to have a splint put on his middle throwing finger. Peyton probably should have went with Simian at that point, but it would have made the Hill wildcat formations easy to cover. If it had not been for those handful of bad plays/calls, the Saints might have won it. Dallas is not as strong as their record.

Sometimes the Cowboys offense can look really weak considering all the star power they've got.

Zeke is hurt again, apparently since Week 4. Jeez, just cut the dude and roll with Pollard.

I have to agree Warrior13, Dallas could save a ton of money as well getting rid of Elliot. Dallas offense is only good when Prescott has time to throw. Pressure the guy and all of a sudden he looks like a waste of money. Dallas are not winning the Super Bowl regardless of what their delusional fans say.

Dak is too limited for the Cowboys to ever win big imo. And without a real QB, odds are you are not going to go far. They have hit on some picks over recent years - Lamb, Martin, Parsons - but it means nothing when you cannot have a guy at the most important position.

It is possible to win a Super Bowl with a limited quarterback but you need to have an exceptional defence. Dallas problem is they don't have a great defence and their best players rely on being fed by the quarterback who is not capable of carrying the team and getting the job done when they face adversity like a Brady or Rogers.Dallas is basically a bully that feeds on weaker teams and falls apart against the better teams. They will be found out in the playoffs.

Yeah, it is certainly possible to win without an elite QB. The Ravens did it in 2000s, Bucs in 2002, Peyton Manning was awful in for the Broncos the year they won. All 3 had elite defenses. Then you get the teams where a miracle happens, like Joe Flaccos playoff run to win in 2013, both of Eli Manning's wins, the Eagle's win with Foles.

Washington has beat the Raiders to make it four wins in a row!!!

I didn't think Washington could win that game after seeing how the Raiders handled Dallas on Thanksgiving away from home.

Washington have just beat the Raiders in their back yard and held them to 15 points. Next week is Dallas, if Washington wins that game the Cowboys lead has been cut to one game in the NFC East.

Terry McLauren was triple teamed and sometimes quadruple teamed, I've never seen that before. I wonder what Chase Young and Montez Sweat are making of this, the team has not lost a game since the two supposedly best defenders on the team have been injured.
